If you have an American Express card you can sweeten this deal! On the AMEX offers page of my credit card there is an offer for a $25 credit on your statement when you spend $45 at Sam’s Club. Planning on combining these 2 offers for some CHEAP toilet paper!

    • Nicole

Awesome, thanks! I always forget to check my amex account for offers.

    • SherryCC

Make sure you read the terms. I also had the “spend $45 get $25 back” but it’s “Offer valid only on a new Sam’s Club Membership purchased online at US website (SamsClub.com/JoinAMEX) and not valid on memberships purchased in-Club, via mobile app or by phone.”

    • SRIPAL KOMATIREDDY

I did the same last year and my Samsclub membership was renewed automatically on Amex Card. I was planning to close the membership as the Samsclub store is closed in our city. It was a nighmare to followup with Samsclub membership to refund the membership fee. After 6 to 8 calls they just issued a wallmart gift card. It very tricky and AMEX doesn’t even allow to dispute the transaction. In the fine terms it may be written somewhere that the same card will be used for auto renewal once you accept the Amex offer.

That sounds like a hassle!!! I’m sorry you have to go through that!!

Can someone tell me what screen the apply offer is at. I have well over $80 but I don’t see anything.

    • Cassandra (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Xenia! Though the terms state that this offer is available for shipped orders, it is only applying when you pay online and opt to pick up at your local club so be sure to select that option. Also, once you have $80 worth of eligible products in your cart, you should see a small icon that will allow you to apply the offer in checkout. Hope that helps!

    • NCCouponista

Same! I selected store pick-up and have almost $90 worth in my cart but I don’t see the option to apply the discount.

There is a problem with Sams Club’s website. I had to contact customer service and use a different browser to order 2 boxes of Pampers Cruiser Diapers. The promo never applied, but they sent my a $20 ecard.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn! SO sorry they could help! Thanks for the heads up!

  4. Ann

    I don’t see it either

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hmm, You will need to apply the offer once you have reached at least $80 worth of items in your cart. Note that you must pay for your order online and choose free in-club pickup in order for the discount to apply. If still having issues, be sure to contact customer service. Hoping that helps!

I argued with the chat guy. He gave me a different link that only had 23 eligible items. When i chose from that list (versus the one that appeared when I clicked your link above (or even the banner from the homepage) the list contained like 154 items. He said “to let us know if it doesn’t work and we’ll correct it.” Too much of a hassle for me.

    • Jess

Hopefully they fix the glitch soon. I’m using the app for an in store pickup and nothing is applying.

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! Does your order contain at least $80 worth of items? If so, maybe try switching to desktop view. Hoping that helps!

Okay I finally got it to work and here are the things that helped me. Don’t use the app. I found it impossible to make it wor with the app. It worked for me with Firefox on my iPad. You must be signed in. It must be a pickup in store. Most importantly only some P&G items will work even if they are instore items and even if in the description there is “spend $80 and get $20 off”. So how do you tell? You must look at the cart. When you look at the cart on the left hand side of the screen in front of each item there will be a dollar sign if the item is in the promotion and there will be a message such as “spend $11 more to be eligible “. I hope this helps other people.

Pampers Sensitive wipes are $15 off when purchased with diapers and they ship free! Unfortunately they don’t seem to count toward the $80 although they are on the list, but it comes out to less than a penny a wipe.

  8. ChasesMom

Thank you so much for posting this! I was able to combine the $20 off $80 with the $15 off if you buy a box of pampers swaddlers and sensitive wipes together. $99.92 total before taxes for 2 boxes of diapers and wipes! 😁

    • ChasesMom

Oops meant to put 2 boxes of diapers and 2 boxes of wipes! $50 in combined savings! Such a great deal!
