What do Hip2Save readers think of these wipes?
These are great- better than Pampers and several other brands like Huggies, Target, etc. I even use them in place of Boogie wipes and makeup remover wipes in a pinch…they’re very durable but gentle too!
I used to run a in-home day care and I’ve literally had every single different kind of wipes that there exist. I personally used the Kirkland brand – I did a comparison side-by-side and I tugged and pulled and did a smell comparison. Kirkland won hands down by price by strength by size by quantity by smell – by everything hands down they are the winner and are the best that I’ve ever used!
I am on my 3rd box and my grandbaby is just over a year. These are amazing, thick and big, gets mess off in 1 sometimes 2 wipes. These last forever great deal!
Does anyone know how long they last in opened? I’m trying to stick up when I see diapers on sale for our second and would love to also get wipes going. We don’t expect to get pregnant for a couple more months since I’m just getting off bc.
They will last a long time unopened, but this deal at Costco comes around every few months so I would wait until you’re pregnant and then stock up during a sale during your pregnancy. But these wipes are my absolute fave and even though my kids are out of diapers I still keep them on hand for other uses.
These go on sale pretty often, so i think you’re ok waiting til the next sale.
How are these? Similar to huggies or pampers. TIA
I love these. They’re as thick as huggies (pampers are too thin) and are big in size. They’re not dry and the container they come in closed really well. The wipes have a Tencel fiber blend in them that makes them hold up really well.
They’re awesome.
I would say huggies but even better. More moist -until your last wipe.
Huggies and pampers feels like wet paper towels bc it tears easily. Kirkland one has a cloth/fabric feel and doesn’t tear.
I have to say that this is my 3rd kid and cloth diapers and wipes are the way to go! You are supposed to save $700 or more including washing supplies, they are cute and I would never go back to paper. I made wipes out of fabric that was laying around that was a t shirt material and they wash with the diapers. Saving a TON of money.
My sister makes cleaning wipes out of these. Open the end of the pack and pour in mixture of alcohol, vinegar and water. ( 1 part alcohol, 1 part vinegar a little water since the wipes are already wet). Work the liquid through. We put them in a pop up Huggies box. No more Clorox wipes and you can use them on everything even the dog! If you don’t like the smell of the vinegar, a few drops of any essential oil you like.
These are good quality, but I find the individual packs to be pretty huge. If you like to keep wipes in various places around the house or in a diaper bag, these might not be great for you. I wait for coupon deals on Amazon, and you can get other brands (in better packaging) for not too much more.
