I have a very petite 5-year old who can ride it, but my 1 year old looks most appropriate on it. I didn’t find it to be too challenging to assemble. Did not need a video tutorial. It also does not move well in grass. Just not powerful enough. Summary: Definitely worth it for a toddler since it’s pretty cheap and is good entertainment for a younger child, but somewhat boring and too small/not powerful enough for children 4+.
I bought one last time and my 4-year-old loved it. It is on the small size which makes it easy to store. My 4-year-old is underweight so he can ride it this year but will probably outgrow it next year.
