My daughter receives both the Science Expeditions and World Edition kits. She anxiously awaits receiving each of them monthly, as she loves hands-on projects. Our Science Expeditions Kit normally includes materials & instructions for 3-5 projects, plus bonus project ideas, and you only need basic household items to complete them – everything else is provided.
Our World Edition Kit is a fun way to learn about different countries each month. Everything fits conveniently in the cute suitcase you receive with the first month’s box, and it’s fun looking for each new location on the included wall map. Each month you receive a collectible coin, stickers, and activity sheet, plus a fun toy or souvenir from that country – the cute sushi eraser sets have been one of our favorite items so far!
Could a World Edition box be shared by 3 kids?
We had the world….for my 9 year old. It was very simple and she completed the activities very quickly. Her younger sister, age 6, received the USA kit and it was much more in-depth and more difficult. I thought the two of them could have shared the USA kit for sure. So, 3 kids? Depends on age and ability I guess, but this is what we experienced. We’ve now cancelled and my youngest receives the Highlights kit. I’ll have to look at that name. We work on it with her and it’s one country every month – much more reading, puzzles, etc. that one gets a keychain each month, etc. Hope this helps!
I’m being charged shipping……with the code BLOOM, which does give a discount from he original price, but still full price shipping?
You’re right! I see a shipping charge now as well. Thanks for the heads up! The post has been updated!
I love this stuff but inspired by Pinterest I started making a similar project monthly for my kids. I pick a country and plan a traditional meal and the pick up books and a movie/documentary at the library. It’s more work for sure but free!
I’ve been thinking the same thing – of course I could do this myself! Great idea.
