Love, love, love Chacos. Birkenstocks are my second fave. It’s all about comfort. I barely wear my other sandals or shoes anymore. I started with the toe strap kind, but prefer without, though I have both. Thanks for posting the sales!
Best sandals! I have had a pair for a little over a year. They hold up well, are supportive and have a great sole for hiking. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money for causal sandals that really wouldn’t get much use and I did get them on sale, but to my surprise I love them so much I wear them them a lot more then my flip flops!! If you are outdoorsy and hike, kayak, boat, etc. they really are wonderful. I wouldn’t wear them on a serious long hike but shorter hikes, when water is involved, walking the dog, etc they are very comfortable.
Never in a million years did I ever think I would pay this kind of money for sandals, but when I got a pair as a gift it was clear why! These, by far, are the best, most comfortable, and longest wearing summer shoes I’ve ever owned! I live on a lake so they get a ton of use as well as having chickens! When they get a little grimy, a soft kitchen brush and mild soap makes them look brand new!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Chacos. I’ve got 4 pairs and have to stop myself from getting more! For those wondering about sizing…I wear a size 9 in Sperry and Converse and my foot fits in a size 9 Chaco, but it’s right to the edges and I don’t like that on sandals so I get a 10 which gives me a little room.
