This is a firm mattress with four inches of airflow high density foam on the base, two inches of pressure relieving comfort foam and topped with another twin inches of memory foam. This allows the bed to take the natural shape of your body and relieve pressure points.
The green tea extract and castor seed oil are infused into the mattress to naturally ward off odor and bacteria.
So I just started researching beds for my daughter and found out some of the chemicals to make these beds fire retardant might be causing the medical issues my daughter recently had.
I’m not saying don’t buy, but definitely be cautious and do some research. I had no idea some of the materials used!

I got a 10 in and hated it. I purchased it through Amazon and they refunded the whole purchase and told me to donate the mattress. So you really have nothing to lose.
Tracy, would you please email and elaborate on the issues that your daughter is having. My husband and I purchased a topper from the same company and have had medical issues since, I just never thought that it might be the topper. However, it would be worth checking into.

We have the Zinus Queen. We bought directly from Zinus, it was $25 more but after reading reviews we weren’t 100% sold. We went directly to the company because returns to include shipping was offered by the company. We LOVE our bed. I would recommend Zinus for anyone looking for a new bed.

We bought this mattress almost a year ago and still love it. We had a tempurpedic previously and like the zinus as much.

We bought the 14″ over a year ago. The plus – it is still firm with no spots where it is broken down or sagging (like a “regular” mattress will do). The negative – it is TOO firm for me. We went with the 14″ because both my husband and I are over-weight and I wanted to make sure we didn’t sink to the frame 🙂 The thing doesn’t even move much at all! I actually prefer the 8″ that we got for another bed – and I don’t sink to the frame on it either.
