Some items are cute and all but hopefully they drop more selection and some items seem a little pricey for what it is. I forget which brand it is similar to that I think it also has a whale as it’s “logo”. Anyone know?

    • MommySpendsLess

Target is partnering with Vineyard Vines

  2. Jo

Are you finding that you can save the sizes in the items that you heart? Mine are erased each time, which will be time consuming to move them into my cart! Every second counts!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Jo! I don’t find that you can save the size, when you “heart” an item. Hope that helps!

  3. sherry

Any idea of what time it will go “live”?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Be sure to check back early tomorrow!

    • Tiggy

Supposed to be 2 am central time

  4. Luna

    Looks Cool !

Sad that Vinyard Vines is going to be at Target. Didn’t work out well for Hunter as their sales dropped by 20% at their original store site. It cheapens the brand. Target has its own great brands, leave the higher end to those that want to pay for it. I feel that my VV clothing is now not as valuable as it was before bringing it to Target.

    • llaura256

Sad but true. It’s the shallowness in us humans..

    • Suzanne

Hunter Boots profits were falling in 2015 and 2016 as well. Not just due to Target tie in.

    • T

      Jillian,
I completely agree. If I pay for a brand and spend the extra money than I feel it should stay that way. When they did the Lilly sale I felt the same way!!

    • grammy

      I completely agree!

    • Nels

Jeez it isn’t an expensive brand to begin with. Just slightly overpriced cotton t-shirts. it’s not like it’s Gucci or LV.

      • Sarah

Exactly! If I can’t find it at the Outlet Mall then for me it isn’t consider a high end brand.

        • Sarah

          I mean, if I CAN. Not can’t.

  6. Patricia

So nobody is mad/sad/disappointed, I’ve heard the items in the stores won’t be available for in store pick-up/drive-up until Monday. If the thing you want is in the store, you have to be in line when the store opens.

  7. Jen

I’m looking forward to buy the Women’s striped midi skirt! It’s super cute ❤

  8. Kalynn

What is special about Vineyard Vines? I honestly don’t get it. Is the quality so much better than most stuff, so that’s why it’s more expensive? Or is it just paying for the label? I know brands like Under Amour (different type of clothing, I understand) cost more money than some other athletic brands, but I think the quality is very good and the clothing items are made well and last. Is this the same type of thing? Because I don’t get it, if it’s not.

    • Mindy

Why do people buy Louis Vuitton purses, or Tory Burch shoes, or drive Mercedes? It’s the brand name. The clothes are good quality, sure…but you’re paying for the name.

      • MommySpendsLess

I agree with you to a point. I think there can be a noticeable difference in style, fabric type/quality and details like hardware and closures. Even when I’m at a thrift store – where the brands are mixed up, the pricing is all the same and you can’t see the labels easily – I find myself regularly pulling out the mid-range brands. I have also found that some brands are more likely to have items in my style than others.

      • Nels

No it’s not. LV bag literally lasts several generations. Mercedes is super safe and comfortable. Cotton T-shirt is still a cotton T-shirt regardless the brand, price etc.
some brands are worth more due to quality, others simply due to name

  9. Michele

I think it’s awesome they will be at Target. It is very expensive online and I can only afford the clearance section.

    • Jamie46178

I was able to go to the VV outlet in Freeport ME when I was vacationing there and there were awesome deals. But at their regular store, yeah, it’s expensive.

  10. Bibirod23

I was excited to hear about this collaboration but dread the “release” time. They never say what time other than early morning. Then there’s always the worry the website will crash. I’m going to get up early and head to the store and hope I get lucky!

  11. Juliee

Maybe I’m not looking at it correctly but both of the things I was interested in are only available in plus size?

    • Juliee

For example the white sleeveless t-shirt. I’d love this! But I need regular, not plus,

    • Mary

I was happy to see the plus size options ! The plus size gals are usually the ones that want an item but it doesn’t come in plus size so it’s refreshing to see more options.

    • Mindy

Keep scrolling through. I found the womens tops I wanted were offered in both regular and plus, just on different listings.

  12. Sarah

I’m excited about this release! I love the brand but not the prices. This is a way for me to purchase lots of different items I will really enjoy at a more affordable price!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

That’s a great idea! Enjoy them!

  13. ckr1077

    Went live at 3am et
I got my order in! Hopefully it sticks!
Alot sold out after about 10 min.

  14. Elizabeth With An S

Wow the clothes went quickly! I got a few things like a pitcher, cups and a lunchtote!

  15. Bibirod23

As expected almost everything I wanted is sold out and I got online at 4:45am. Heading to the store before they open to see what I can find but my store already says some items are out of stock t the store? How is that possible? Not surprised though….

    • Tiggy

The in store items are out of stock because the inventory system is holding them for online orders that will be picked later today.

      • Sarah

That’s lame! They should have a different inventory for that.

  16. acgold

Another Target fiasco. Limited I understand, but selling out in 10 minutes, as you are checking out in the middle of the night in the east. Over 400 items already on eBay. Go Target! 🙁

  17. Ashley

I was on when it went live but I decided not to purchase. The Denim skirts looked frumpy and I think I see more cute stuff for my kids on Zulily on any given day.

  18. MommySpendsLess

This is disappointing. All the hype on Target’s end and everything’s gone in the middle of the night. I’ve had a few Items I really wanted ‘hearted’ for weeks. I happened to be awake until almost midnight EST anyway so I stayed up specifically to see if they released at 12:01am EST (as others have states it wasn’t available yet then) and by 7:00am EST it’s all out of stock. That’s taking “limited time” to the extreme. I wonder how much more money they would have made if they had enough stock to keep up with at least 24hrs worth of demand
On the bright side my wallet is happy and I didn’t really need any of it.

  19. Ivan

I might be in the minority, but VV is way overpriced for the quality. The few polo shirts I purchased faded and shrunk.

  20. Mindy

I happened to wake up at 3:03am and remembered that Lily went live at 3am, so I jumped online and sure enough. Managed to get just about everything I had hearted, except the womens pink pullover. Of course I wanted that the most LOL. I placed the order, then went back to look at a few more things and stuff kept getting pulled out of my cart. Now almost everything is gone, except disposable plates/cups and some towels. Wonder what the store is like! I’m sure a mess.

  21. Juliee

I was up late and didn’t even think of this!! Everything I want is n/a online. I may be adding Target Tour to our day—there’s many of them within an hour of me, and we’re headed south for the morning anyway…. fingers crossed! If I find anything, the next hurdle will be battling it out with my daughters to decide who gets what, we’re all going to want the same 😬 (but I’m sure I’ll get the polos all to myself 😂)

  22. Jodi

To all of you that missed out please do not shop the Ebay resellers. That is why items sell out so quickly, all the people trying to turn a quick buck because we as consumers allow it to happen by buying from them. Frustrating but unfortunately the reality these days. The only way to combat the madness is to not buy their inflated prices. They are already selling items that they have only gotten an online confirmation on. As soon as the stores open there will thousands of items listed on Ebay. Don’t buy from them!! Watch the prices drop quickly when they can’t sell things and lots of items get returned back to the store. They usually have a limited return policy of 2 weeks on these items, that is when items will start showing back up in stores. Congrats to all those who were able to buy something.

    • Hunterwoody

      This!!! So much!!

  23. Lilly

Someone, or people, bought out the entire line of pink plus size sweatshirts in the first few minutes of the sale, like they were rock concert tickets. Disgusting. They even had them listed on eBay before the sale started! I managed to get most of what I wanted. Had my pink sweatshirt in the cart and it suddenly dropped out, within 3 minutes, sold out! They targeted certain items and mass purchased. Ugh, eBayers.

  24. Jean

Only one of each size in stores and a much much more limited selection. My store sold out of all the adult clothing in the first few minutes.

  25. mary

    Wow everything is sold out!!🤯

  26. Tara

I walked in my store at about 8:05 and the whole area was packed already. There just happened to be my size left in what I wanted. The only thing I really wanted that they didn’t have was the pink half zip, I did get one for my daughter. I am happy I didn’t get anything online bc I probably would have ordered the wrong sizes. I usually wear size 4 shorts and the 0 fit me perfect. I never would have ordered that size. The home items weren’t selling that fast, still had plenty when I left and they were restocking the bags. And the baby stuff was still there.

  27. Bibirod23

Update, so I made it to the store a few minutes before they opened with only a few other ladies waiting outside. Got all the things I wanted except a the polo which that store didn’t receive and checked out all within 15 minutes! Got lucky!

    • Chelsey (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! So glad you could grab the items you wanted!

  28. Elle

Anyone know if any of these items will be restocked? Or are they all gone for good?

    • jodi

Items are all gone, no restocking. You can check back to see if anyone returns anything but more than likely it will be sold on Ebay for 3 times the price before it is returned.
