Bambeco Native Bee Houses are a simple and unique way to not only decorate your garden, but also help save the bee population. They are hand-crafted from 100% FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council) solid pine wood and bamboo and are sealed with a nontoxic, water-based finish. They will attract non-stinging native bees that are not aggressive.

I’m allergic to bees too, but I’ve never been stung by an actual bee (just wasps and hornets). Bees are usually so busy working that they leave me alone in the yard. I’m totally buying this bee house – anything I can do to help save the bees! Thanks for sharing this post!
Do you have to be a member to purchase or is it like Sam’s club and non members just pay an extra 10%? Thanks!
This price is available in store only. You do not have to be a member to shop online. Here is what customer service let me know when I asked them about it –
“Absolutely! If you are not a member, you will be charged a 5% surcharge over posted prices for members (except for prescription drugs). This is because our ability to offer low prices on brand-name items is due in large part to our membership program, which is designed to reward members for their loyalty. Of course, we absolutely encourage you to join—there are plenty of benefits to follow should you choose to do so. You even have the opportunity to add a membership to your cart prior to checkout, at which point the 5% surcharge will be removed.”

There are also ways around it. You can purchase a Costco cash card or gift card and then you don’t need a membership to shop in store.

I’ll pass as well. I don’t know if I’m allergic. I’ve never been stung by anything. I would rather not find out. I already squeal and run away when I see a wasp. They are flying donkeys. I don’t need to add bees to that.
