Wow! Looks like Walmart is competing head on with Shutterfly! Maybe Shutterfly will lower their shipping prices to be more competitive 🙂

    • Sandy

      That would be fantastic!!!

  2. Chelsea

I’ve made one of these before and quality is great. Love that it’s a quick and good option if you need a photo book.

Good to know how nice these have turned out for you, Chelsea! Thanks for the feedback! We sure appreciate it!

    How many allowed per customer?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Jamie! I don’t find a limit listed. Hope that helps!

  4. Tina

Is the site mobile friendly? Having a hard time creating the book from my iPhone.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hmm, maybe try switching over to desktop view. Hope that helps!

      • Gretchen

I can’t do one from my phone either but can’t find how to switch to desktop view?

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

On my phone, I can click on the three small dots at the top right of my screen, to select that option. Hope that helps!

  5. Laura

    When does this deal end?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

I Laura! I don’t find a specific end date listed. It appears to be available for a limited time.

When I go on i only see cheapest price of like 9.89. When I use your link I see the $4 but it won’t allow me to make it front your link. Any ideas?!

    • Xtin

I have the same problem. I can’t seem to use the link when trying to create and use my albums in my phone.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! I still find that I can create the $4 options through the link above. Maybe try again in a different browser OR switch over to desktop view if using a mobile device. Hoping that helps!

I picked up my book today… it was not leather — it is a brown linen hardcover… i was charged $3 which is pretty awesome and it’s cute.. i saw the hip2 save listing again and then realized- hey i didn’t get leather… i called the store and they said they don’t know what the website is talking about— they only have linen covers for 5×7 books.. whaaaaat??? Ugh- whatever- it’s still nice so i’m done.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How odd, as the product pages listed a leather hard cover option yesterday. They must have updated the details on these. I do see they now offer a hard or linen cover option. Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention. The post has been updated!

So just a heads up for anyone curious. These are essentially designed one-sided pages printed on 5×7 photo paper, then just bound in a hardcover book. They don’t have the nice double sided Shutterfly paper feel to each page. It feels like an actual 5×7 print to me. You cannot customize the front cover or spine of the book like you can on Shutterfly. It’s a little basic compared to Shutterfly books I’ve ordered, but honestly for 4 bucks who can really complain? I did like that it had the hardcover, that was a really nice feature, but if I had to pay more than 4 bucks I don’t know if I would order it again.

Thanks for the helpful feedback, Britt! Good to know!
