I went ahead and ordered this for my small kitchen. After ordering and looking at the picture I hope that one shelf in the lap area doesn’t pose an issue being able to sit close to the table.
Most of the time you have to assemble these items yourself and you could probably just not put the shelves in.

Do you think a dorm fridge would fit under the open area? I’m thinking of ordering for my college student.
I ordered 2 to use as work spaces for students in my class to stand at (5th grade)! I love that they have the option of a seat, but some focus better working while they stand. I also appreciate the shelves so they have a place to put books/supplies!! I’m tempted to order more!
