Las Vegas Now Accepting School Supplies as Payment for Parking Tickets
Got school supplies and live in Vegas?!
The Las Vegas City Council recently voted unanimously to approve a program that accepts school supplies as payments for parking tickets. The program will last for one month only – June 19 through July 19, 2019.
This option is available only for those with non-public safety parking citations.
Want to pay off your ticket?
If you live in Vegas, you can pay off a parking ticket this way:
- Just take your school supplies donation at the Parking Services office from June 19 – July 19, 2019.
- The city will accept new, unwrapped school supplies of equal or greater value to the fine.
- You must show a purchase receipt to prove the value of the items.

We moved from Vegas a year ago, and attended public school. They desperately NEED those school supplies. Millions were cut, large class sizes. Extra Hard kids to teach. They LooooVe and need anything! I don’t even know how the art teacher was able to teach art. To catch on nation wide would be a good thing!
