We’ve had this seat for about a year now. My son is 2, 28lbs and about 33 inches tall. Now as a mom I know no parent wants to think about these things but it happens. I was in a car accident with my little guy with me. We were rear ended very hard totaling both vehicles involved. I suffered whiplash but my son was perfectly unharmed. Not even a red mark on him. The seat held up perfectly with no damage. All buckles and the chest plate were still in place and fastened after the accident.
I was a little leary before I ordered it thinking it was gimmicky-but knew Amazon would take it back if I didn’t like it. I absolutely love it-maybe more than my 4 year old grandson! It’s large and roomy, very sturdy and I know he is safe. I recommend this product for grandparents like me to keep in their car. A fore warning-you may get startled when you look back-his eyes are intense!

These booster car seats have been rigorously tested and exceed Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, plus they were given a “Best Bet” rating by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. They work great as a 5-point harness booster for kids between 22 and 65 pounds and 29 to 49 inches in height, then they can be converted into a belt-positioning booster for older kids.
Two cup holders provide a handy place for drinks, snacks, or toys. And, we love that the cape can be removed from the seat for use as a blanket. How fun is that?
My family is one of the investors in this company so I obviously have one in every car including my in-laws. They are so fun for my daughter. She loves the characters. BUT they are much more than a fun car seat. Last year my daughter was in an accident with her grandma. The car rolled 4 times and landed upside down. The police had to pull my daughter from the car. My daughter walked away without a single scratch. ER told us over and over how lucky we were. Days went by and my daughter Never complained about any soreness. These car seats are beyond amazing. I will never ever use a different car seat.
