I’ve been really disappointed in the quality the last few years bc they’re so thin and not good for kids rough on clothes. Switch to cat and Jack with the 1 year warranty.
I have to second this.. newer pairs my son has ripped holes in the knees after one season of wear. And we barely have a winter lol. Older ones of his have been worn by little brother too and STILL look great.
Triple this. I was a loyal TCP jean buyer for years but the last few years, the jeans have been horrible and do not hold up in the least. They were tearing in the knees within just a couple months, some tore in the crotch… just awful. And my oldest isn’t hard on his jeans at all compared to some. I always get jeans for about the same price during Target sales, Osh Kosh sales, etc. I won’t bother with TCP anymore. Not to knock H2S’ sale alert!! But they just are not “decent” quality anymore (and all I hope for is decent at this price!).

That too bad! Glad my son grew out of the Childrens Place before the quality declined. He wore those all throughout his childhood and I recommended those Jeans to everyone. They were great. Right now, as far as Jeans are concerned, we shop at Old Navy.
I use to buy The Children Place Jeans a lot for my son until I noticed the quality of their clothing (especially the jean) declining. The jeans do not hold up well at all. My son is not rough with his clothing and he still comes home with rips in his jeans only after a couple of wears. It’s not even worth $7.99 in my opinion. I also switched over to the Cat and Jack Brand and absolutely love it.
