Thanks so much for letting us know, shellieb!
does any one own this vacuum? Does it work well in open concept home?
I had one of these for about a year. It doesn’t really work that well – I found it didn’t really pick things up off the floor. I gave it away after about 3 months of use. I got a real Roomba and love it – totally worth the extra $100 to get a Roomba.
I have one too. I haven’t been super impressed with it, I would say spend the extra for a roomba. Our bobsweep has fallen down the stairs multiple times. They do offer great customer support, since it’s broken several times from the falls.
I have one and it’s definitely not as efficient as using a broom but I can get other things done while it’s cleaning so that is a bonus. I think of it as a quick clean up that I don’t have to do! I still pull out my broom at least once a week to really get all the dirt out of the corners. I have never tried a Roomba so I can’t compare the 2.
We got one a year or so ago, and loved how well it cleaned when it worked. Not sure if ours was damaged during shipping, but it malfunctioned A LOT! it kinda did it’s own thing, sometimes got confused while cleaning and did weird patterns or skipped around aimlessly bumping into everything possible-we always joked about it being special. Eventually, it started having error codes more often than it worked- and it would randomly turn on and run or not turn on during scheduled times it was supposed to. It was also extremely loud, which based on reviews, people said it was quiet? Ours was louder than a traditional vaccum- again, I’m pretty sure we got a damaged product, as it had weird issues from the first time we used it- but I never got around to contacting manufacturer about the warranty to find out if it was a defective product or just that model happened to be just glitchy (also could be why it was heavily discounted through target all the time)
That being said, I am still wanting to purchase a new one, especially the newer model with better mopping capabilities, because overall, we were very pleased with how well it cleaned up when it worked! Especially because it was amazingly at sucking up dog hair and dust/dirt on our hard floors, and transitioning from bare floor to carpet!
I had one and returned it, total waste of money in my opinion.
Oh bummer! Sorry to hear about that, Breanna! Thanks so much for the honest comment!
Thanks for the honest reviews!
Thank you, ladies, for your reviews. I was going to buy it. I’ll save my $$ and buy the real roomba. Good thing I waited for you to chime in. One of the very few times that my procrastination paid off 😂🤣😁
