I bought this last year for my daughter starting preschool. We love it, I love how she gets a variety of food for lunch I pack mini carrots, cheese sticks, cherry tomatoes etc all in the different compartments, and she loves picking out what she wants and tells me where to put them when I am packing her lunch. The items do not even move around when tossed around the lunch box, easy clean up as well. I use silicone cupcake liners and put them in the compartments of the box and fill them with the food so that way I just pop out the liners and wash them.
My daughter is going into Kindergarten and she has had this box since she was two. She loves the variety! Weight has never been an issue for us nor cleaning. Totally recommend!

Is there a lunch bag anyone could recommend that the Bentgo box would fit in? I would need room for a thermos and ice packs too.
We have the Bentgo lunch box for my daughter and we love it. It fits the Bentgo Kids Box, slim ice packs, and a water bottle with no problem. They’re on zulily today, too!
We use the Land’s End “soft sided” lunch bag, put box inside, ice packs in netting pocket inside, and drink in pocket outside. Works perfectly. Have used since preschool, still works for 7 year old.
