  I just read some of the descriptions and reviews. According to those, the 4K one is much faster, has longer buffer memory, and produces a clearer picture. I don’t have a 4K tv either but it sounds like the 4K stick is a bit better. Probably worth the $10 extra.

   We recently updated our Fire Stick because the one we had was several years old and was lagging (the same way older computers do). Man, the new one is better! We’re converting our parents over to the Fire Stick from satellite, so we’re going to give them our new stick and I bought one of these 4K ones for us 😍

   There is nothing in the $14.99 Fire Stick page thats says if the Sling TV credit is only for new Sling TV customers or if it works for existing Sling TV customers as well. I called Amazon to ask. They said that all Sling TV subscribers can GET it. I couldn’t get someone to definitively say that existing Sling TV subscribers could USE it. The rep just kept repeating that yes they can get it.

    Anyone use this for their hulu live? We recently switched from cable only to find out that nearly all of our devices were “too old” and “incompatible” with Hulu live.

    Hi Mallory, yes we use it with Hulu live and it works great. I find it to be super easy to use. I have the 4K one. I also have the roku but I like the fire stick better. Just ordered another one. Good Luck:)

  We don’t have 4ktv but after reading comments and reviews I ordered this. Sounds like it is faster and will work with any tv.

    Hi Abby, one of my tv’s is not 4K and I have the 4K fire stick with it. I’m not sure how much difference it makes because I don’t have the regular fire stick to compare it. I went with the 4K so when I bought a new tv it would most likely be 4K and I wouldn’t have to upgrade. Hope this helps:)
