I have used an Osterizer Blender for 30+ years, and finally splurged for a Vitamix. Why oh why did I wait so long. No comparison. If you use a blender often, you will love this. Great for homemade almond or coconut milk, great creamy smoothies, and purees chicken bones like it was nothing, which I put on my dogs food. One of the features I most enjoy is that I don’t have to push the food down in it very often, like I did with my Osterizer. They have a great warranty. Any problem with your Vitamix and they will repair or replace free of charge.
