Does anybody know if these are returnable at this price?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

It appears so! You can view their full return policy here. Hope that helps!

  2. Julie

    Any code for the lunchboxes?

    • wendy

They have some in the clearance section for $8-$9 and then use the code for free shipping.

  3. Nancy

Would size medium be good for a kindergartner

    • Ro

I would like to know the same.. kindergarten and first grade, would medium be ok?

      • Sam

Yes. It’s 18 inch . Good for kg and grade 1

        • Ro

          Thanks!

        • Nancy

          Thanks

        • alma Claiborne

I’m trying to order a small and a large book bag at the sale prices it’s not letting me do that.
          Help

    • STACEY

I’ve never had a Lands End backpack but my son’s backpack last year was 17″ and it was perfect for 2nd grade. I think the average backpack size is around 17″.

    • Tiffany

The small is a better fit for a kindergarten. I did the small for my daughter and it was a little too big. It was perfect in2nd grade(at 50 inches). I got the small for my son and it was perfect. It’ll work for 1st grade as well.

      • Tiffany

Sorry I meant the medium was too big for my kindergartener. I might consider the larger for 3rd/4th grade.

    • Kadi

Yes! My kids have these and their the perfect size!! They’re 5 and 4!

    • Alain

I have a large for mine. It is a little big on him but we live in MI and most of the year he has to bring snow pants and shoes daily.(he is not allowed to keep at school) so anything smaller doesn’t fit that with his lunchbox and folder.

  4. Grechin

It’s not getting that cheap for me. What am I doing wrong !! ???

    • Heather

You have to choose the ones already on sale.

      • Helpmesave

        Thank you!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Make sure you pick the ones with the sale prices we list above, Grechin!

  5. Helpmesave

The code is not bringing it down that low. Any suggestions?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Which one are you trying to get, Helpmesave?

      • Helpmesave

I wasn’t ordering the right sale ones. Once I realized that the price went down. Thank you. Such a great deal!!

  6. Amber

Thank you! Can’t beat getting 2 quality back packs for $16.42!! What a great deal.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      You are so welcome, Amber!

  7. Juliee

Weeeeeee!!! What size do you think for second grade?

  8. wendy

FYI. I found lunchbags on clearance for around $9 and used the code. It did not take off more $$ but it did give me free shipping.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Yay!

  9. GAmommyof4

For that price I bought backup bags for my kiddos!!! Best deal I’ve ever seen on Land’s End. Thanks!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      GREAT idea! You’re very welcome!

  10. Michelle DeYoung

I agree with the above. I’m told the price will be a “final cost of $8.99 shipped.” The price isn’t getting that low for me when I apply the given code and PIN.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I do find that price of $8.99 shipped. If you choose the backpacks that are $19.97 you can get that price. I see the ClassMate Printed Large Backpack in 3 colors towards the bottom, you will get that final price. Hope this helps, Michelle DeYoung!

  11. jessica

Would the large backpack be too big for kindergarden?

    • Sue

Yes, large fit my 4th grader / 5th grader. Small k-1grades, medium 2-3 grades. I get a new one every 2 years.

      • shelly

Thanks for the helpful info sue! I was debating on sizes with my second grader and trying to read their recommendations.

      • Vicki

        Are they good quality backpacks?

  12. Elizabeth.M

    do these have warranty?

    • smellyann

      Yes

  13. Heather

I would say yes. The largest I’d go for kindergarten would be medium. A small would even work if you have an average size/height child

  14. smellyann

    Big enough for high school?

  15. Elizabeth.M

    thanks! got one for $8.09

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      You are welcome, Elizabeth.M!

  16. Janie

Don’t forget ebates …10% cash back.. I also got mine monogrammed with my son’s name… great deal

    • Sue

Yes! ebates 10% I just came to post that and I saw that you did. This is a great deal with ebates. I ordered 3, 1st grader, 3rd grader, and 5th grader. I got them all monogrammed.

    • Elissa

Dang it!! Just placed my order then realized there was a 10% ebates! 😫

  17. Vasu reddy

    what’s the quality on these?

    • Sue

Great quality! Last 2 + years.

      • Vasu reddy

Thank you. Does the medium works for 2nd grader?

    • Janie

My son has had his since K he’s going into 3rd.. it’s in fantastic shape… he will be using his for a long time

  18. Jill

Thanks – what a GREAT deal!!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      You are welcome, Jill!

  19. Mary

I got the map print backpack because my son loved it but i can’t find a matching lunch bag, anyone have any suggestions?

  20. Nikki

My son wanted the space 1 $39.95 before the discount…of course it wouldn’t be 1 of the cheaper 1s! Still got it $18…

  21. Tiffany

Thanks this is probably the best I’ve ever seen there with free shipping AND a free lunch box!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      You are very welcome, Tiffany!

    • joannafonseca

How’d you get the free lunchbox?

  22. Janice

Got one for my son. Thank you!

  23. momoftwins

I can’t get any of them to show up as on sale…HELP

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

When you click on each link above, scroll all the way down and you should see the sale items. Hope this helps, momoftwins!

    • Katrina

  24. Carrie

We have used lands end for our kids since kindergarten and we would recommend the medium to the large size. We live in the northeast and with snow clothes and a lunchbox and all the other stuff that goes back and forth we have never found a backpack to be “too big”, but I think it depends on what area of the country you are in and if the child brings a lunch box, etc…

  25. Nicole

I just ordered a book bag last week. Does anyone know if they do price adjustments?

  26. Amanda

Can I pay with shop your way points?

    • Sneg

Not any more. Lands’ End got out of SYWR points a year or so ago. Lands’ End has the best return policy, even personalized items can be returned. Period.

  27. SearsLandsEnd

We apologize for the inconvenience, however, Lands’ End is no longer participating in the Shop Your Way® program through our website or for orders made over the phone. You may redeem your points at Lands’ End Shop at Sears.

  28. Micki

You are the best! I was just getting ready to order my son a backpack and lunchbox. While this code only worked on the backpack that he chose it included free shipping, was a better discount than they were advertising on the website AND I was able to snag 2 high quality backpacks to donate. Thank you!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Micki! I’m so happy for you! You are very welcome!

  29. Janis

This price is amazing…got a small backpack, her favorite color blue for kindergarten. Thank you so much!!!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Janis, you are very welcome!

  30. Christi

Which size would you get for a 1st and 3rd grader?

  31. Lauren

I showed my son them and he loved the blue one with triangles!!! So excited he liked one to save mommy some money!! He will be in First Grade and I got the medium for anyone wondering!! Thrilled!!

    • Luv🌺

Thank you! I was able to get 4 backpacks (2 medium &2 large) for just under $40 including tax. I’ll use one of the large as diaper bag for baby on the way; the map bag for my 2nd grader, geo rainbow for my kindergartener and one backup/ future bag. School and baby shopping is starting to shape up without me driving around town in search of deals. God bless Hip2Save team and readers. 🌺

  33. Momof3

These are great backpacks my son used the medium one for Kindergarten and first grade we have had the backpack for five years using it now for sleepovers still in great condition no holes

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

SO glad to hear how well it has held up! Thanks a bunch for sharing your experience!

  34. laurengregerson

Got 2 backpacks for $17.50!!! My rising 1st grader had been using one we bought from Costco but that thing is bigger than she is!! I’m happy to get one that will be a good size for her!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh great! You’re so welcome! Hope she loves them!

  35. Sheana S

Awesome deal! My kiddos have Land Ends, bought them last year! But this is a great deal, great idea for donations to kids in need as well!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

I love that idea, Sheana S! Thanks for the suggestion!

  36. Heather

Thanks for this post! I ordered my son a backpack that’ll last a few years hopefully and a lunch box for next year! He’s in PreK this year, so that’s why I’m hoping to get a few years out of it! Both personalized with his name for $47 shipped! Even if it just last 2 years it’s worth it!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How exciting! You’re so welcome, Heather! I bet he will love them!

  37. Kristina

I bought two small backpacks and matching lunchboxes for $50. Thanks!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welcome! 🙌

  38. jmwl

Why is mine coming up as $15.72 I can’t get it any lower, or if $34.95.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hmm, I’m wondering if you may be choosing a backpack that doesn’t qualify? I do see that the small option is now out of stock, however the discount still applies for me on the others. If still having issues, be sure to try a different browser. Hoping that helps!

  39. brindhaG

Awesome deal ! Thank you 😉

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welcome!

  40. Kelly Levenson

These are awesome backpacks! They also wash well, just hang dry. They will honor the warranty if you have any issues. We have been buying them for years, so much better than the cheap ones that never last the school year.
