Very annoyed bec it didn’t work for me- only took off 1.25. It was actually embarrassing. The lady said you can’t use two coupons.
I’m sorry to hear that, Shop624. One of these is a manufacturer coupon and one is a Walgreen’s Store coupon. Policy does allow one of each. I’m guessing the cashier just didn’t know.
If you head here, you can print the policy and show them next time. It’s under the Multiple Coupons category if that helps.
Try Dollar Tree. They have the four packs of TP (slightly smaller, but not by much at all) for $1. I’ve stopped buying from Walgreens and just get 5 packs from DT. 20 rolls vs. the 12. The extra 8 rolls more than make up for the difference in size.
Walgreens employees always like to make up their own rules!
Same thing happened to me with another deal 2 weeks ago. I wonder if we had a small filler item if it would have worked?
My experience is you have to have to at least the same number of items as coupons. So since this was 2 coupons then you would need a filler with the paper towels so 2 items. Ppl usually grab gum or a candy bar.
I purchased just one package of the TP yesterday and register took off both coupons no problem.

Scott has $1 off print on their website. With the $1.25 Wags coupon l paid $2.75 yesterday.
Oh darn, my bad the print was for the paper towels, not tp. This deal worked, l got both.
Thanks for posting this. I was able to get 4 packs of paper towels (6/pk) and 6 packs of TP (12/pk) for $34.25 including tax after the coupons, free shipping and redeeming $4 in Walgreens balance rewards. That makes each pack around $3.425 each. Sounds like a great deal to me!
