Funny story that made me feel old..
I work the CS desk at Target. A young man came in who was probably 18 or 19. He mentioned he just got his first apt near his school. He was returning a TV stand so i asked if anything was wrong with it. He said “No nothing wrong, my roommate made fun of me though. They said 1985 called they want their TV stand back”. Oh my goodness i didnt realize how old fashioned the younger generation thinks they are. Clearly the only option in their eyes was the wall mount he was purchasing instead. Im beginning to think i could charge admission to my house for a tour of ‘the olden days’. Lol
LOL!! At least it wasn’t an ENTERTAINMENT CENTER!!! Hahaha! They used to take up the entire wall. Then bigger TVs came out and didn’t fit into the spot designated for them 🙂
And for the record, we have our tv mounted AND a tv stand because the kids need a place to put their video consoles and controllers and games, and that is still cool amongst the teens/college age!!
