Here’s how to claim your FREE flight:
- If your last name is Green or Greene, follow directions below (You will be asked to provide legal documentation confirming your last name).
- Book a flight that departs between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on August 13th.
- Round trip return flights must arrive by 11:59 p.m. on August 20th.
- Refunds will be rewarded to to the original booking contact person by September 15, 2019.
This promotion is only applicable for those with the last name of Green or Greene. Their immediate families, including spouses, parents, children, and siblings are not eligible for the promotion if their last name is not Green or Greene.

I think that’s pretty weird, and unfair. Women often keep their own last names, and families are often blended with stepchildren.

Pretty sure they figure that the Green(e) family member getting a discounted flight will encourage them to book the rest of the family with those company so they make a profit. That’s not ignorance, that’s marketing.
In general I don’t think this a fair deal- that is a huge discount for just a small group of people and it’s not like people can control what their name is.
Yes it’s a big discount which means they can’t give it to a lot of people. That would be a dumb business decision.

Told my coworker who’s last name is Green, he immediately requested the days off and started looking for flights. We work for a travel company and he’s never been on a flight. Great first flight #free

The reason it only applies to ‘Green’ & ‘Greene’ is because it’s a promotion to advertise their new approach to greener flying. Which is good for ALL of us!!
My name is Green and I wasted 3 hours on the site! Must travel on a direct flight on 8/13 and return on 8/20. They don’t have many direct flights!! By the time you factor in 7 hotel nights….. might work for some….
Fegs it doesn’t say you must return on the 20th. It says you must return by 1159pm on the 20th. So you can return any day between the 13th and 20th.
My maiden name was Green! Too bad it isn’t my last name anymore, but I definitely passed the info along to my dad, Step mom, and my brother!
