Apple Credit Card Launches This Month | Daily Cash Rewards, No Fees, Spending Summaries & More
Apple Card is coming to an iPhone near you this August!
Apple is partnering with Goldman Sachs to roll out its new Apple Card, a credit card that’s linked to Apple Pay and built right into the Wallet app so you can manage the card right on your iPhone.
Although it’s optimized for Apple Pay, the Apple Card also comes in a sleek-looking titanium physical card with your name etched into it so it will still work as a traditional credit card for all transactions.
Apple Card launched to a select number of beta testers on August 6th and will become available to everyone later this month. Once it does become available to everyone, you will be able to sign up for Apple Card in the Wallet app on your iPhone in minutes and start using it with Apple Pay right away in stores, in apps or online worldwide.
For now, head here, scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter your Apple ID email address to receive the latest news about Apple Card.
Perks of an Apple Card:
- No fees! No annual fees. No cash‑advance fees. No international fees. No over‑the‑limit or returned‑payment fees.
- Pinpoint your spending on a map – Apple Maps clearly labels transactions with merchant names and locations
- Track your spending by date and category – your spending totals are laid out for you in the Wallet app, by week or by month and purchases are automatically totaled and organized by color-coded categories such as Food and Drinks, Shopping and Entertainment.
- Earn cash back immediately with Daily Cash, a cash-back program that loads rewards directly to your Apple Cash card and can be used right away. Every time you use Apple Card with Apple Pay, you will receive 2% Daily Cash or get 3% Daily Cash on all purchases made directly with Apple.
Are you signing up to get an Apple Card? Do share!
Already have one! I think I’ll be using this more often compared to my other credit cards. It’s very easy to keep track of my expenses.
How cool! Thanks for sharing, Dan!
Will this give us a discount on apple products?
3% cash back on Apple products.
2% cash back on anything using Apple Pay.
1% cash back on anything using Apple Card (not Apple Pay)
Unfortunately not at this time. I’m sure Apple will find a way to engage Apple users. The cash back from what I received gets applied to Apple Pay where you can use it at most retailers these days..
My husband already got it through early access and loves it so far!!
Yay! Glad he is loving it, Sara! Thanks a bunch for the feedback!
My husband and I each got ours! We love it! It’s our first credit card we’ve been willing to have in like ten years. The ease, honesty and security are just as other Apple products!
Just another credit card in my opinion. There are tons of credit cards out there with no fees and much better rewards. I personally won’t be buying into the hype. If you do get it, please be responsible with them.
Who is the credit issuer of this card?
Goldman Sachs
