I like this pizza. I always think frozen pizzas don’t have enough cheese, but these have enough cheese. I also like the crust better than most; it’s a good blend of crispy and chewy. Plus, it not too thick and not too thin. I think these are fun with my kids, because I let them personalize them a bit by adding their own olives, pepperoni or any other ingredient if they prefer.

We love this pizza – it’s my go-to, we have 20 mins to get dinner ready! I add Italian seasoning and toppings if I’m feeling creative or have time! 🙂

We really love these pizzas. We are gluten free now so I’m always so sad when these go on sale. I like Red Baron frozen pizza a lot. Saying that so others get a grasp on our taste.

We like this pizza!!! I always add veggies that we like on one half and the other half only cheese for the kids . If you add fresh toppings that you like with a little bit cheese on the top it doesn’t taste like a frozen pizza.

I add pepperonis to these and cook up for my kids lunches. 1 pizza makes 5 lunches so .25 each lunch. Add a side of raw veg and fruit. And lunch comes in at about .50 each. I call that a win and the kids are thrilled!

Score for mom! Thanks for sharing your lunch idea for the kiddsdo, Krista!

  2. Joan

I might be in the minority here but my family does NOT like these pizzas. They taste cheap, like a cardboard pizza. I just had to let others here know before they go buy a ton of these and have high expectations.

    • Lmh

My family does not like them either. Even at this price, it’s not worth it when they don’t taste very good and it’s a struggle to get my kids to eat.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for letting us know what your family thinks of these, Joan! We appreciate the feedback!

    • Katie

We finally had to stop buying these because they just taste awful. Cardboard is an accurate description- OLD cardboard. Yuck. The price had us eating them for about a year ..but now, no thanks!

  3. Mary

Not my favorites either, but I usually will buy one at this price. Top with veggies or meats and you have a steal of a meal when you’re in a pinch. Our go-to is Red Baron, which I can get for $2.50 at the commissary. Love that crust!

  4. Tracie

I haven’t tried the cheese but my son love’s the Kirkland thin crust pepperoni pizza. I’m going to grab one of these since the price is great. Typically the Kirkland brand is good quality.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Let us know what you think, Tracie! Or what your son thinks!

  5. Tara

My kids actually like these! I’ll be making a trip to Costco, this is a great price! 👍🏻

  6. Su

We had this for dinner tonight! It’s my kids’ favorite frozen pizza. I take it out of the oven after 10 minutes, before it gets crispy and my daughter will even eat the crust (which there isn’t much of). Had to have it for dinner right away so I can make room in the freezer to buy more!

  7. Maria

I bought them yesterday and they weren’t bad. I made two – cut each in half and everyone put their own toppings on (pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers, pineapple, onions). I put each half in the air fryer on the pizza setting. I’d buy them again for $4.99, but probably not $8.99.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for telling us what you think of these, Maria!

  8. Savings Lady

Unfortunately these are at the bottom of our list for pizza taste. Glad others are okay with them because this is a great price but for us they don’t pass the test.

  9. Rolene

Sadly, this pizza is not mine or my family’s favorite and it makes me sad. I wish it tasted better! Yay for those who do like it!

  10. Amy

Obviously lots of different opinions on what everyone’s family likes. We love these and I will make a few trips to stock up at this price. If you haven’t ever tried them, give them a shot…can’t beat the price! And, if your family doesn’t like them pass the rest on to someone else.

    • Alison

Or return them! Costco’s return policy is awesome. I had ground beef awhile ago from them that was really bad (not sure why because their beef is usually very good). I got a complete refund, no problem.

      • Katie

Good reminder to return them if you don’t like them. With enough customer feedback maybe they will consider upgrading the recipe to something more palatable.

  11. Nicole

We love these, but they’re definitely a frozen pizza 😏 There’s only so much a company can do with a heat & eat.

  12. Sara

We add sugar to the top of them before we cook them. Seems to eliminate the yucky taste everyone is talking about.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh interesting! Thanks for the suggestion, Sara!

  13. riya meen

Off topic but can you please suggest good cheese to buy in Costco? Thanks

  14. J

I coat the pizza pan with olive oil and add my own toppings (bbq chicken with avocado or whatever random ingredient is in my fridge) and they are a great quick dinner fix.

  15. Jan

I’ll be picking these up! Back to school means lots of weekend sleepovers and they will be devoured by tween boys at our house!
