Pillsbury’s Funfetti Pancake & Waffle Mix Makes Breakfast Worth Celebrating
Make breakfast more fun!
Pillsbury is bringing one of its most popular cake flavors to the breakfast table with its new Funfetti Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix. Just like the Funfetti Cake & Cupcake Mix, this pancake and waffle mix is filled with rainbow-colored candy bits.
All the ingredients you need to make a festive breakfast are included in the box! Just decide how much you want to make, add the right amount of water, and follow the simple directions on the box.
This Funfetti Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix is just beginning to hit shelves, so it may be a little difficult to find. This new product does not appear to be a limited-edition, so it should become easier to find as it continues to roll out nationwide. Keep a lookout and let us know where you spot it!
If you prefer a gluten-free variety, you may be able to find this Hungry Jack Gluten Free Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix with Funfetti Candy Bits at select Walmart and Target stores. There are other brands that make similar Funfetti-type pancake mixes, so it’s worth keeping your eyes peeled!
No time to stand over the griddle and flip pancakes?
Try this sheet pan pancake recipe. Substitute your own cake decorating sprinkles for the fruit, and you’ve got yourself a super-simple, homemade celebration breakfast! 🎉
I’m guessing these are not low carb.
High carb, high fun, big sugar crash 😆
Am I the only one who thinks this is a bit silly? Seems pretty easy to just add sprinkles to your pancake batter.
I am with you. That is true for all dry mixes. Unless someone doesn’t have flour, sugar, baking soda, etc in their pantry.
Sprinkles, small container, are usually between $1-4 depending on brand and store. This is prob between $2-3. I saved a ton of effort from buying all the other ingredients. I like this idea lol.
Exactly!
My thoughts exactly…
Using dry cake mix to make pancakes and waffles isn’t a new thing. Granted, this would save me the step of adding the 2-3 extra ingredients to convert it over from cake to pancake. And, in my opinion, “just adding sprinkles to your pancake batter” does not give the same result. I find most true pancake mixes to be bland. Cake mixes (and I’m sure this pancake mix) has sugar in it so it makes a sweeter pancake—which I prefer, because I usually eat my pancakes dry (AKA no syrup). I’d rather have a sweeter, flavored pancake than a bland one that I have to drown in syrup. 🤷🏻♀️
I’ve been adding sprinkles to my kids waffles and pancakes for awhile now. Sometimes I’ll mix in some mini chocolate chips too. No need for syrup!!!
That’d be cute for a birthday morning treat
Ooh yes! How fun! Thanks for the suggestion, Melissa!
I think these would be adorable for a child’s bday breakfast, other than that, I don’t know about everyone else but I never have to ”tempt” my kids to eat pancakes…fruit maybe, vegetables definitely! So until they come out with funfetti Brussel sprouts, I won’t be buying food mixes with sprinkles in them. 🤣😂🤣
I love how the pancake picture is the exact same image for the gluten and gluten free LMAO!
My daughter is obsessed with the confetti pancakes from ihop now I can treat on the weekends 😍
