Off topic, but does anyone have a 20% carseat coupon they won’t be using? I thought the trade-in was until today also, but I guess that ended yesterday, while the coupon is good until today (so odd). Anywho, my email is sapphire329-19@yahoo.com if you have one to spare!
I have one I can send to you! 🙂
Everything I had put on my loved list was sold out by the time I woke up at 7 this morning. Oh well I didn’t need the stuff anyway. It saved me some money and buyers remorse.
Thank you for expressing my thoughts exactly! Sadness followed by a sense of relief😌
I set an alarm for midnight because I knew once I woke up in the EST everything I wanted would be gone.
It was live, added to cart from favorites, pay with saved card, was dead to the world again in less than 3mins lol
Got to Target at 10am and the item I wanted had sold out. I thought to check again before I left the store and there was one sitting there! I was so excited and glad that I had checked!
I stayed up till 2am central time and bought my lily pulitzer cups right at 2:01am. With these special sales you have to stay up till the time they drop, set alarm and wake up 10 min before or get to the stores really early before opening. They sell out very fast.
I was lucky to get the two or three things I wanted. The prices were about 30% more than they were when originally released a few years ago.
I got to my store about 30 minutes after they opened. They didn’t have a lot in stock. I’d say maybe 4 of each size per style.
I had to wake up at 3am but I got everything I wanted!! 😳
Shocked that I logged on at midnight and it was all available for quite a while after. Keep checking store for reruns afterwards people
Freaking loser resellers. eBay is flooded with this stuff at huge markups. Peeves me off. Get a real job.
I’ve been selling online for 20+ years in addition to my f/t job. It’s a learned skill like any other field. No one is stopping you from getting there first. Sales start at the same time for everyone. It’s supply & demand. You think retailers are selling for the price they paid? After fees and other costs, resellers make less than you think in addition to storing items and tying up capital until someone decides they want it usually long after the item would’ve been gone from marketplace anyway.
I would NEVER purchase something on Ebay that someone bought at target to resell. If everyone did that, these people would stop snapping everything up. Plus, if a dress retailed for $50, that’s more than expensive enough. Not going to pay $100
I’ve already seen for example a set of small melamine plates prices at $8 listed for $50. It’s ridiculous. And some of them have dozens listed.
So don’t. No one is forcing you to buy anything…at Target or Ebay. You snooze, you lose.
I would NEVER purchase something on Ebay that someone bought at target to resell. If no one bought, these people would stop snapping everything up. Plus, if a dress retailed for $50, that’s more than expensive enough. Not going to pay $100 for it.
Whatever let’s you sleep.
I wouldn’t even reply to these childish posts. From now on, when you get up at 5am to get a deal, be respectful of the lazy people and leave some for them. It’s the nice thing to do. And, I guess they think when you guy something, and sell it for a higher price, you did an injustice to the buyer – as if you held a gun to their head and made them buy it. Like you said – it’s supply and demand. People buy what you’re selling either because it’s the best price they could find, or they’re too lazy to look for a better price. How is that YOUR fault?
LOL! Lots of this stuff left over at my local Target. Considering I just recently found a pair of Missoni socks from the last event that I never even took the tags off … well, I got a scarf today to go with them.
