Find out why this is so highly rated…

I am actually excited for my weekday breakfast now! These homemade “mcmuffins” are so good! My favorite version uses sliced tomatoes, Swiss cheese, and precooked bacon. So many options, all so easy! My kindergartener and my teenager both love it.

It only takes a few minutes and it’s really easy to clean up. Each morning we just pull out the food, pour it in the sandwich maker, set the timer and walk away. Less than minutes later, we have a delicious perfectly cooked breakfast.

If you love breakfast sandwiches like I do, then you need this sandwich maker in your life. It couldn’t be easier to make a delicious breakfast sandwich in less than five minutes – I know I sound like an informercial, but it’s the truth! They’re even delicious reheated if you’re taking them to work or school with you.

Like most households, our families are busy in the morning. We are always looking for healthy breakfast dishes for our family. The instructions are very easy for our kids to follow. They are excited to be able to make their own breakfast sandwiches – they can customize them according to their food preferences (they can have their own cheeses, their own breakfast meats, their own breads, etc). It’s a welcome change from their normal breakfast routine and a lot healthier than processed cereal and Pop-Tarts.

Probably should change the title. I couldn’t understand why saving 1 cent was so great. 🤣

    • bremoeller

Haha I thought the same thing.

Title of post says regularly $20 (instead of 29.99). Which is not such a hot deal if its on sale for $19.99 or one cent less than retail.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Thanks, we got that updated!

I had this device and we liked it for the time it worked. It lasted about a year before it died.

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear it didn’t hold up for very long. Thanks a ton for taking the time to comment! We sure appreciate the feedback.

It’s not a great deal. We are saving only one cent.

Just wanted to share that I bought this from BB&B about a month ago and took it right back. It’s only big enough for a small English muffin (forget a bagel or biscuit) and the middle section (which comes out for cleaning) was difficult to keep where it’s supposed to be for cooking. JMO

Thanks for your honest feedback! We appreciate it!

We have the double sandwich version of this. It’s great. The version we have you can pull the elements out and run in the dishwasher…I know there is another version which you have to hand wash. That would probably be hard, but the version you can run through the dish washer is worth it if your family is on the go and need a quick fix in the morning. Had ours for about 3 years…still works…hope this helps.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thank you so much for letting us know about the double version, Gael! It is very helpful!

  7. Cassie

We have this and love it. The sandwiches come out as hot as lava though LOL

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Yikes! Good warning, Cassie!

I bought this on sale a few years ago and we only kept a few months before donating it. It’s a pain to clean didn’t make a great sandwich. I bought it for my husband who was a pilot at the time and wanted a decent breakfast he could make quickly and eat on the way to work. He found just using a regular pan and the toaster was easier, faster and less messy.

I had this a few years ago and was excited to use it. Unfortunately, it was such a pain the butt to clean it each time that I only used it a handful of times before I donated it. It is much easier to cook an egg in a mug in the microwave while the english muffin is toasting and throw it all together!

I bought this a couple years ago at Target. Pretty much free after gift cards. I love it. We use it quit often. Just wish I wasn’t cheap and bought the one that makes 2 at a time.
I know it’s “non stick” but I use olive oil spray and cleaning it is not a pain in the butt.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Thanks so much, Nanette!

We have this item and I bought it for the same price. It works great and such a great gift for a teen or 20 something that needs to make something good to eat. In a regular store, I have seen this item sell for $24.99-$29.99. I haven’t seen it priced any lower than $19.99.

We’ve had this for years. In fact we bought a 2nd one for my kids to take to their college apartments. On the keto front, we used it instead of a little waffle iron to make chaffles w/o the baffles! They turned out really good and were more bun like for our burgers.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Cool idea on the chaffles, bdubs! Thanks!
