Egglettes are non-stick silicone pods that let you cook and pop out hard-boiled eggs and egg-shaped omelets without the messy and clunky egg shells.

Has anyone tried these? Any reviews? Does the egg yolk stay in the middle or design it migrate towards the outside so you have egg yolk on the outside of the egg after you pop it out of the mold.

When we use them it sometimes floats to the top so it’s def. possible to see yellow sometimes I’ve never had it on the sides though

I’ve had them float to the top occasionally too, but we use them for salads so cut them up and no one knows.

I am curious about this as well. Any input would be appreciated.

I’m curious if you’d be able to use it in the instant pot to make little individual desserts or something other than eggs?

We own the egglets deluxe with holder, you grease them with oil before boiling and they release without much hassle , they obviously make a flat bottom so keep that in mind for deviled eggs but for us it’s worth it. Hubby is allergic to eggshell but not egg go figure so this is the only way he can eat boiled egg. You def. have to scrub to clean them and that is tedious.

Thanks SO much for taking the time to share that with us, Nicole!

Wow eggshell but not the egg! I have never heard of that allergy

They are really much more trouble than simply just peeling the egg. The eggs stick to container and they have to be cleaned pretty thoroughly. Also oil needs to be added. Not worth all the trouble. Not even for a dollar!

I bought them on clearance and they do what they say although the clean up is tedious. I’m literally incapable of getting a soft boiled egg out of the shell without 90% of the white getting ruined so I like it for that. Of you like hard boiled then just keep doing it the normal way.
