The Revlon One Step Paddle Dryer is great for kids! My 10 year old daughter always had trouble blow drying her hair by herself. I got her one of these about a year ago and she loves it! Definitely saves this Mama quite a bit of time. This is definitely a must have item in our home!

Does it get dangerously hot or does it have a cold or warm option? Would love if my 8 year old can blow dry her own hair with this.

      • Amy

It has 3 setting, cold warm n hot

      • Amy

I received a $10off$10 and 20%off any service in mail yesterday from ulta.

        • ashdlop

Did you get that in email form or mail?

      • Carrie

It does get pretty hot on the high setting but your daughter would be able to use the lower setting without a problem. Plus Ulta has a great return policy. If you use it and don’t like it they will take it back. 🙂

        • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thank you so much for telling us about the heat settings and how your 10 year is even able to use it, Carrie!

    • Shelly

@Cara Yes if u could plz share the heat protectant that would b great TIA

How is this vs the One Step Dryer Volumizer (the more oval one). I have the volumizer one and it works ok, but I do think this paddle one might be more efficient because the oval one the air leaks out the other side when you use it like a brush.

    • Lisa

I’m wondering the same thing. After a closer look at the brush I see that the paddle one doesn’t have the boar bristles like the oval one does. I believe the boar bristles will smooth and give your hair more shine so I’m guessing the two aren’t quite the same.

I may need to go check out the tgin products. I like the honey miracle hair mask.

  4. Cara

I love this dryer. I have 4a hair (tight coils) and I have no issues with this dryer. I use an amazing heat protectant and my hair dries incredibly fast even on the low setting. Highly recommend it.

    • Dealzgurl

Glad to hear that! I was wondering if it worked for folks in the 4 range. Do you mind sharing what heat protectant you use?

    • nishacup

Thanks for the info, I am 3c/4a and wondered if it worked. I will be making the purchase!

  5. Dealzgurl

I purchased too. I’m a 4C so any help I can get with straightening my hair will be much appreciated, lol.

  6. Cara

I’ve been using Rucker Roots Leave In Heat Protectant. I love it because it’s so light. I think it’s sold at Target now but if not, you can definitely get it on their website.

    • Dealzgurl

Thank you so much for responding. I’m sure you’ve experienced the trial and error of finding good products for our hair. 🙂

  7. Mye

Thanks for posting this dryer sale. I’ve wanted to get one for my sons hair. Tired of tackling all his hair with a brush and dryer. Fingers crossed it makes blow drying his hair for braids easier.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I’ll cross my fingers for you, Mye!
