On the fence?! Check out these reviews…

My husband and I both have high blood pressure and this blood pressure monitor is the perfect size for us to quickly check our blood pressures. I love the small size since it’s easy to store and take with you if needed. It’s very accurate, also. Would definitely recommend!!

It is very helpful to test high blood pressure and is easy to use! The monitor is very clear, easy to see and accurate. In addition, it can set the alarm clock on the phone to remind to measure blood pressure. It is really useful!

The Koogeek Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor is small and works really good. My last doctors visit they have something that looked just like this unit. It is quick and easy to use!

Wrist blood pressure monitors are notoriously inaccurate.

The only problem I’ve noticed with wrist monitors is that the person needs to hold very still. So, if someone has a tremor, involuntary movements, etc. you might be better off using a traditional cuff.

Just an FYI- I recently saw a cardiologist and he only recommended the BP monitors that go on your arm due to the others styles ( like the ones that go on your wrist) being inaccurate. He also said to avoid the really cheap models for the same reason.

Just fyi for anyone needing a BP cuff. They’re not as accurate as the traditional upper arm cuffs. They at times are significantly different. I did research/teaching on their usage comparing the 2 when I was a nurse for the army last year.

But, if you’re going to buy it still.. always elevate your wrist across your chest at heart level.
