Verizon Wireless Customers Will Get a Year of Disney+ FREE
Exciting news for select Verizon customers!
Verizon announced today that it will offer its customers an entire year of Disney+ for FREE. This offer will be available to new and existing Verizon Wireless Unlimited customers, new Fios Home Internet customers, and 5G Home Internet customers.
“The launch of Disney+ kicks off a new era of streaming for The Walt Disney Company, bringing nearly a century’s worth of content from our iconic studios to consumers directly,” said Kevin Mayer, Chairman, Direct-to-Consumer & International, The Walt Disney Company. “We’re excited to share this moment with Verizon and bring Disney+ to the millions of customers across its award-winning wireless network.”
Disney+ will launch on November 12th and will include new and existing TV shows and movies from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars and more. This new streaming service will be available across multiple platforms, including mobile devices, gaming consoles, streaming media players, and smart TVs and will also allow customers to download videos to watch offline. Once the free year of Disney+ ends, the cost will be just $6.99 per month.

It will also be available to those that already purchased the 3 year membership. An email will be sent out close to the launch of the streaming service with a code that will allow you to add it on to your pre-ordered subscription.

Same here. Glad I waited. However, I hope someone figures out a hack to get this to work on the Amazon Fire Stick. Otherwise, it will be difficult to actually watch this on TV.

Exactly. Only for customers who switch to their home internet service. So, not all existing Verizon Wireless customers will get free Disney+ for a year. It’s a promotion to get existing and new customers to sign up for additional services.

You are incorrect. They clearly state “In tandem with the Disney+ November 12 launch, Verizon will become the exclusive wireless carrier to offer 12 months of Disney+ to all new and existing 4G LTE and 5G unlimited wireless customers. Verizon will also offer 12 months of Disney+ to its new Fios Home Internet and 5G Home Internet customers.”

It has been widely communicated that Disney+ will not work on any Amazon Fire products. I hope we can sideload the app but it appears that one will not be able to download the app normally to any Amazon Fire products.

super excited…we pay 357$ a month for our verizon bill, since i was going to pay for this, it takes the sting off getting a year for free:)
Im wondering if there will be a promo code to enter if you want to get the 12.99 package with hulu and espn.

Once again people with limited data get left out. I don’t need unlimited data. I don’t even use the 5GB that I have. I barely use 2GB.
