We’ve already been to two trunk or treats and our kids give us the candy they don’t want and we give that out to our scarce amount of trick or treaters. ¯\_ಠ_ಠ_/¯ I feel it’s better to give it away than toss it.

We do the same. My kids don’t like most hard candies, anything sour, dark chocolate, etc. I’ll add some of the good stuff, too; There’s always so much more than we can possibly eat. I always set it out in the bowl on our porch and leave a sign encouraging kids to take a hand full. We always have some left over anyway.

One tip though, if you do your own advent calendars, save some Halloween candy to add in.

That’s why you have scarce amount of trick-or-treaters. Geez..give out some good candy. Those poor kids go thru all that effort of trick-or-treating. At least make it worth they’re while and give good candy and not your kids hand me down candy.
And I’m not trying to be a hater, just speaking up for the kiddos.

I hope you’re joking, but you’re probably not.

does anyone know if this is a better deal than buying a big bag at Walmart?
