I’m really curious if this will help my 3.5 year old sleep through the night for once in his life. Maybe it’s worth a try at $30.

    • Jackie

I just ordered a second one for myself. It is so comforting. Since it is Target you might even be able to return it if you decide you don’t want it.

      • Sarah

Walmart sells them regularly for 29.99

    • Denise

It’s suppose to be 10% of your body weight so 12 pound weighted blanket would be for a 120 pound person give or take a few pounds depending on if you like your blanket heavier or lighter. But good role of thumb is 10% of body weight

    • Denise

I have seen 5 pound weighted blankets on amazon that might be better for a younger child. There has been reported deaths associated with young children and the heavier blankets

    • Stephanie Hoover

This 12 lb blanket is much too heavy for your 3.5 year old. It is recommended to use a weight that is 10% of their body weight plus 1-2 pounds. I have a 5lb blanket for my 3.5 year old and it is perfect!

    • Megan

They sell 5lb ones for younger kids too

    • Gina G.

Target has the weighted blankets for kids with Snoopy on them. 🙂

I had 10% off in my Target Circle for this particular blanket. Have been wanting to get one, so Target must have read my mind. Sold at that price!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

PERFECT! So happy you could score the additional savings!

    • acgold

I couldn’t find the offer. Where was it please?

      • allison a

Target Circle offers are now selective, so it’s not available for everyone. Just wanted to give a head’s up that it might be there.

I ordered one of these for my mom. She didnt like it all the weighted stuff went to the bottom of the blanket when she tried to put it on her. So it was pointless. Not worth the money in my opinion. Maybe the more spendy ones work better. Idk

    • Jackie

Really? that’s terrible. I’m going to have to read the reviews, maybe I can cancel my order. It is not supposed to work that way at all.

      • Jackie

Maybe they changed them because they show the little squares and says “Box quilt design guarantees the beads won’t shift and weight is evenly distributed throughout the comforter”

        • T Stella Bernard

I have this one….the quilting keeps it all in place. Problem with this one, no cover and you can’t wash it. There are others with covers for the same price.

          • Jackie

Thanks, I ordered both. The one I have now doesn’t have a cover but you can wash it. I wonder why this one can’t be washed?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn! Thanks for the honest feedback, Laurie. Sorry to hear about that.

  4. Nikki

How is this brand compared to the ones at Costco?

    • Jackie

I bought one from costco that I am returning because I don’t like it compared to the one I got on etsy. The costco one is too large and I feel like it isn’t heavy enough because the weight is distributed throughout a huge blanket. I’m hoping I like this one better.

  5. CJ

Good price, but hold off for one with removable/washable cover.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Great deal, Cheryl! Thanks for the suggestion!

    • Denise

Where is the 15%circle I don’t see it available??

    • SKS

Thanks Cheryl . I cancelled the 2 I bought for gifts and reorder these ones. I have 2 weight blankets that didn’t come with covers I had to order them which cost around 20.00 each. So thank you!

    • Gina G.

Is the 15% off offer only for selective customers as well?

  6. jackie

Thanks, I ordered both. The one I have now doesn’t have a cover but you can wash it. I wonder why this one can’t be washed?
