When you send in for a kohls rebate do you need to send the barcode from the box? I don’t like doing that if it is a gift.

I just found several slow cooker cookbooks at dollar tree, including a holiday themed one. I am giving a few of the cookbooks to a friend with the crock pot for Xmas. I did this offer last year. While I love the crock pot, the rebate process was a pain. First my rebate submission was rejected for missing information (there was nothing missing). I contacted the rebate company and was assured I’d get my rebate. It took a few months and several follow ups before I finally got the rebate in February-ish. Decide if it’s worth the hassle for $10.

I got this deal last year and have found that the oval design does not work as well as my older round one. The same recipes tend to burn or not cook evenly.
I got an oval crock pot and it works very slow comparing to regular shape my cousin has. I was so disappointed, we did some pork shoulder on hers and mine at same time (side by side) for a party and the exactly same recipe, same amount of meat and my took over 2 hours longer to cook.
I picked up a couple of these last year. I filled them with w a cook book and ingredients and donated them to basket raffles. Makes an impressive looking donation all for under $20!
Anyone else get a postcard saying they won’t give you the $5 rebate because the crockpot was on sale? I called and they wont give me the rebate.
