This was so easy. I hesitated until today after reading other comments on these posts stating that you would have to set up a new account in your spouses name in order to do this. This was not the case. I logged into my account verified my husbands information and bam got the deal. Easy peasy.
Yay! Thanks for letting us know how easy it was for you, Aleshia! 🙂 Glad you could snag it!
I have my parents on my account and debating on switching it to my dads name since he is a veteran. We currently pay $158 with tax for four lines without a discount. Do you know how much it would be with the discount? And is this unlimited everything (text, talk, and data)?
I wish it wasn’t automated pay
I’m so confused. Do you have to add a line to get the free year of prime? We have the military discount already and switched to the start unlimited plan, but were told you have to add a new line.
It does state you have to purchase a new phone and it can’t be an upgrade, Taryn, so that does seem like it has to be a new line to get the Prime freebie.
You NEED to add a line and BUY a smartphone, I just talk with a representative of Verizon .
