I have both the Instant Pot and Insignia. The Insignia is amazing for the price. I also like that it came with a nonstick inner pot vs my Instapot came with a stainless steel inner pot.
Agree.. I purchased the 6-quart Insignia at Christmas time. Family of 3 and there are leftovers love love. Easy to use and clean. My cooking time is cut in half clean up is easy because I only have the pot and lid to clean. Ground beef and other meats brown great on sauté mode. This price is great for the 8 quart.
I love, love, love mine! I have bought 5 more, one for each of my grown up children and an extra one for me. That way I can do sides and main dish at the same time. I highly recommend you purchase one. I probably should add, I am not much of a cook but this lets me do pretty impressive meals quick and easy
I’ve never owned an Insta pot… is this worth it?
does this brand have a yogurt or hard boiled egg feature?
I own an insignia and Instapot. They are basically the same. I love that the insignia comes with a non stick inner pot instead of the instapots stainless steel one. The only real negative is when you look up recipes they’ll all refer to the instapot brand but you can easily change it for the insignia. I’ve made everything in it (Carmel sauce, cheese cake, muffin mix in a cake pan, speghetti, rice, pot roast, sauteed veggies, burgers, ‘baked’ potatoes, split pea soup) except I haven’t tried yogurt simply cause I don’t eat a large amount of it. Lol
