Is 12’ a good size? We don’t have a huge yard, but I don’t want to get too small either. Thanks for any input!

I think it’s too small, unless only 1-2 kids will be using it. 15 ft is perfect size and not that mix more expensive. Check out Walmart.

        Thanks so much!

Heads up on weight limit. It’s only 200 lbs. I almost got it but realized 200 doesn’t go far

      Thanks for the tip, Caroline!

That’s a couple kids though. I am an adult around 110lbs though so couldn’t jump with another adult but could jump with my child. But 3, 65lb kids would be fine.

Squee!! I’ve been looking for one!! Thank you!! It’s our “family” gift!! They’ll be SO excited!!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! You are welcome, Janice B!

We have one of these in this size and it is perfect for our yard. We’ve had it for 4 years. We have had to replace parts on it every year or two. We live in Florida and the extreme heat has made the padding around the springs has disintegrate at least 3 times, we’ve replaced the safety net once, and the jumping pad broke once since we’ve had it. Replacement parts for this run about $40 per item.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thank you so much for all that information, aflgirl!

We have this exact one we got it in July. I looked and looked and this is fantastic for the price. Highly recommend it.

I live in upstate NY and obviously it’s very cold and snowy here until aboutttt April. Is it super lame to get this for my kids as a joint family Christmas gift? It would just kinda be a giant add on to the things they are already getting, not their only thing. I think it would be silly to go out and spend a ton just a few months after Christmas just out of the blue but my husband thinks it’s weird to buy it for Christmas because you can’t use it for months. Anyone want to help settle a debate? Lol

We live in MI. My kids got one from their great grandma two years ago for Christmas. They were extremely excited and look forward to putting it up for months. My oldest was 7yrs old at the time. Sadly last month we had a major windstorm that blew in into a tree and destroyed it. (We had it weighted down but apparently it wasn’t enough. They cried for days. Their grandparent immediately told my husband and they would get them a new trampoline as a group gift this Christmas. I don’t think it’s weird.
