Anyone know of a deal on UA baselayer/cold gear? Last year I got my husband tops in 3.0 and a 4.0, regularly $70+ and $80+ each but there was a 50% off code or something so I got both for around $80 shipped. He loves them so much that this year he wants the bottoms to go with them, but that price! I’ll buy them with a sale like the one I got last year, but at full price it would really hurt!

How do we get the 70% off ? Are marked down items eligible for the 70%? 😊

    • JennD

The prices on the website are the sale prices. No codes or anything for the % off.

Thanks for the helpful comment, JennD!

Does anyone have the Women’s Ultra Light Packable Jacket and if so, do they have any issue with feathers coming out? Thanks!

    • Angel

I do and it is AWFUL. Feathers everywhere, my boss asked if I had a cat. Not to mention did not keep me warm.

Thank you, I think I may need to pass on this great deal

I bought the mens underwear last week that was 8 pairs for $34. They were supposedly similar to the Under Armor type…. but my husband dislikes them and says they are not like his UA ones.

The shirts are totally see through! I mean as far as base layer, yeah they are thin so they can go under anything but they do NOT come close to other brands.

Floridian here, planning to go skiing in NC. How much of this do we really need? We’re just taking a 3-4 night road trip with 1-2 days at the ski resort so I want to spend as little as possible without being miserably cold. I got snow pants, snow boots, ski gloves and water/wind resistant coats for each of us but the coats don’t seem very insulated (esp mine) even though Academy marketed it as a ski jacket. If I wear a long sleeve tee, regular leggings, a fleece jacket and the water/wind resistant coat will that be enough? Do we really need special base layers?

You just want to make sure you have non cotton clothing up against you. Do you have any fleece and/or poly layers?

Also you can always get some Hot Hands/Feet. The feet ones have a sticky backing and you can literally attach it to your top over your stomach and it will help your core keep warm.
