My Sears Maintenance Man recommended I buy this product and use it monthly. He claims that the stainless steel tub is surrounded by a plastic tub and needs freshening that plain vinegar can’t reach. I own a Bosch dishwasher with a stainless steel tub. I used to use vinegar to freshen it up but will be using this from now on. It seems to do a great job. The entire tablet was dissolved by the finish of the cycle.
Our dishwasher wasn’t doing its best lately, so I knew something was probably blocking it up a bit. It had no easily-removable parts, so after reading about these, I thought I’d give them a try. So glad I did! After running an empty load with a couple of these tablets, dishes were coming out cleaner and the whole machine smelled better. It’s so easy and will definitely become like scheduled maintenance. Certainly cheaper than a new dishwasher.
It works like it says it does and that the most important thing. I prefer to use this on its own instead of with dishes being in the machine too. Use two tablets the first time and you’ll be amazed at how shiny the interior looks afterwards.

I have an old dishwasher that I just wanted to get a couple more years out of so I could replace all the appliances at once. Didn’t think it would make it and gave these a try as a last ditch effort to clean it out and get it working a little better. They did the trick!
