IMO Proactiv is a gimmick and does not work. My daughter had severe acne and we tried Proactiv for 9 months with zero improvement. Finally, a dermatologist prescribed her an antibiotic and said she had heard no stories of improvement from Proactiv users. If you have a teen suffering from severe acne, find a dermatologist. The teenage years are hard enough.

Proactiv saved my skin! When I was a teenager and into my 20s, I tried lots of cheaper drugstore options and nothing worked. But as soon as I started using Proactiv’s 3-pc set, my skin cleared. I’m a believer!
