Just curious, can you use register rewards or points to pay for gift cards? (and still receive the $10 Walgreens card)

Just a warning. We were given a Netflix card (by my mom, so I know it was legit) and someone had used the code (it wasn’t tampered with either!). I called customer service and they would not make it right. She actually told me to pause my account and open a new one from a new email to get a month free. I told her no and she told me I was out of luck. We are so close to canceling.
Wow the exact same thing happened to me $100 worth and they did an investigation and gave me all my money. All I did was tell them where they were purchased. It didn’t take more than 7days. I would have asked for a supervisor because they know exactly who used that card.
