Klondike Donut Bars Now Come in 3 New Donut-Inspired Flavors
Kroger is the first place we’ve seen the new Klondike Bars! 😍🍩❄
Klondike has released three new donut-inspired ice cream bars in Boston Cream, Frosted Strawberry, and Triple Chocolate flavors. Each bar features a crunchy chocolate shell filled with swirled ice cream and topped with something you might expect from the donut world, like a chocolate drizzle or sprinkles.
At first glance, these don’t look all that different from traditional Klondike Bars. Despite the fact that they’re “donuts,” they’re still square like the originals and wrapped in the signature silver Klondike wrapper. Once you unwrap one though, you’ll be sure to notice a donut-inspired hole in the middle!
Although Klondike Donuts won’t be available nationwide until March, they’re already being spotted at select retailers. The Boston Creme and Frosted Strawberry flavors are already listed on Meijer’s website, although they are not in-stock yet.
We found the Boston Creme flavor in-stock at our local Kroger, where it was selling in a six-pack for $3.49. In case you were wondering, that’s the same cost as the Klondike Bars without the hole in the middle. 🍩😉
“Donut shaped”—just the latest ploy to make Klondikes smaller.
I’ve never liked Klondike bars, but anything with Bavarian cream or Boston creme pie flavored I gotta try, & these were EXCELLENT. Much better proportion of ice cream to chocolate IMO.
