I cannot wait to try this. I’ve had to tighten my budget and my skincare budget got hit hard lol I recently tried Trader Joe’s microdermabrasion cleanser, hydrating gel moisturizer and the antioxidant serum was AMAZING!!! Better than my Sunday Riley regimen. I love was so impressed ❤️

I love Trader Joe’s! I recently tried their Tea Tree shampoo which also doubles as face wash and I also love their blueberry and acai facial scrub.

    Must try. Thank you!

You’re welcome, Nita! Hope you love it!

Trader Joe’s is amazing for skincare! I’ve used prestige items for years and I tried the All in One Facial wash and daily lotion with SPF on a lark and I love them. The ultra hydrating cream in the jar is perfect for summer and doesn’t clog skin or dull it. The rose facial tones doubles as a great body spritz. I can’t wait to try this eye cream too

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How cool! Thanks for taking the time to share with us, Angela!

I haven’t tried it but I read the ingredient list. It has two different types of alcohol high up on the ingredient list. It also has fragrance, all which can be irritating especially around the eye area.

    • Abby

Ann, Is there an eye cream you would recommend that is natural and non-irritating?

    • nita

Thanks Ann, yes what may work for 1 person may not work for another. Fragrance etc. won’t work for me.

    • Abby

You’re right. It caused my eyes to get red and itchy so I stopped using it. Now I have ugly dry patches. Will be returning it.

      • Ann

I’m sorry to hear that happened Abbey. Cerave makes a good eye cream. Dr Dray (a dermatologist) on You Tube just made a video on Trader Joe’s skincare. Most of their products have alcohol and fragrance in it. Also check out Penn Smith Skincare on You Tube too. She reviews a lot of skin care ingredient lists and has some recent videos on dupes for expensive products.

I love Paula’s Choice products. All products are backed by scientific research. They are available on the Paula’s Choice website and Amazon. Since we’re talking beauty products, Aveeno has an excellent ultra-calming hydrating cleanser with no fragrance that costs about $6.

In general I love Aveeno products. The moisturizing body wash and the body yogurt are top notch and luxurious. But I caution about the Aveeno facial moisturizer with SPF. My dermatologist gave it to me but I had the worst reaction ever. My face looked like raw meat with just one use. I stayed inside for weeks I looked that bad. So patch test first if you try that.

Maybe you used the Aveeno moisturizer with spf that has chemical type sunscreen. Sunscreen have 2 types (chemical & physical). Chemical sunscreen usually have oxybenzone, octinoxate, octisalate and avobenzone. Physical sunscreen only have Zinc sometimes with Titanium dioxide. I myself cannot use chemical type my skin gets so warm hot and burns my eyes and I gets irritated.

That makes a lot of sense. I don’t know what kind is in it. It was just so horrendous that I threw that bottle in the trash and no Aveeno with SPF goes on my face. I love the Aveeno body stuff though. I just wasn’t smart enough to know to patch test and thought I’d possibly spare someone else a lot of pain.

I’ve tried it and I love it so far. I’m 60 years old and this cream definitely softens the fine lines around my eyes, non greasy and very affordable. Highly recommend Trader Joe’s brand

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

SWEET! Thanks a ton for the recommendation! Good to know how well it has been working for you!

I really like the TJs hyaluronic acid serum. The ingredients list is very short and for 8.99 you it’s a pretty impressive product.

  9. Go Zags

I think I need to go to TJ’s this weekend. Thanks for the idea.

  10. Donnamarie

I’m obsessed with Trader Joe’s skin care products. I’ve been using them for a few months and I’ve been getting more compliments on my skin! I haven’t seen this at my store, is it new? I’ll have to look when I go tomorrow, thanks for sharing!

The TJ’s Head to Toe balm is $4 and is AMAZING — lips, cuticles, elbows, between the fingers, anywhere you get dry patches. It’s packed with shea butter. It comes as a solid, in a tin — it is scented with EOs. I keep a tin of it by the bed to put on with freshly washed hands before bed time. I’ve used the cult-fave Honest Company balm too but it’s not any better, but costs around $13 for less than half as much.

  12. Sanresa

I’m so sad this has been discontinued. I have super sensitive eyes and there’s not many a creams I can use. This was one of them that I could and now it’s no longer available. Does anyone know where else this can be purchased from?

    • Lamb

      I just bought it today
