Do Sam’s have any strawberries yet
Yes, $5.98 for 2 pounds. They are from Plant City, FL, home of the winter strawberry. I just bought some this morning.
I think Trader Joe’s carries them also. I don’t care for them but my son likes them.
I do remember seeing them in previous years! Thanks, Lo!
Costco has them as well
Thank you, Elizabeth!
i bought them at Sam’s…but they didnt have any flavor to them…not the usual cotton candy flavor…this was kinds bitter.
Same experience
They’ve had these again at Meijer for the past few weeks, too!
SWEET! Thanks for letting us know!
Stew Leonards has them-they are sweet!
Another Stew Leonards fan? So few people know Stew’s! Which one do you shop at? I’m right near the Danbury one.
Aldi had grape jelly ones. Kind of yummy.
Those do sound yummy, Thanks for commenting!
I haven’t tried this brand available from Sam’s, but my son just read an article for school about the original Cotton Candy flavored grapes, which are grown in California. They were developed over several years as a hybrid between a Concord grape from the eastern U.S. with various California varieties. The brand in this photo is from Peru, so I’m not sure if it is the exact same hybrid as the original Cotton Candy grapes. I’d assume that where the grapes are grown would affect the exact flavor even if they are grown from the same variety of vine. The ones we’ve tried were a little too sweet for me, but my son likes them.
I didn’t think they tasted any different than regular grapes.
Costco is also selling them for 9.99
Thanks, ginarogers!
I was so excited to score some of these at Costco after years of hearing about them! My daughter and I literally torn into them when we got home…and nothing…..they taste like grapes. Boo hisss…. they were in exact packaging as photo too!!
We buy the cotton candy ones @ Harry & David (Medford) & they r sooo good A lil pricey 🤑 We also tried from a grocery chain (can’t remember the name) coz they were cheaper compare to the H&D ones, they tasted like regular grapes 😕 & there’s an other kind Moon Drops which we got from Fred Meyers, they r also good 😋 though pricey
If you are in parts of Texas, H-E-B also has them for $4.99/lb & a $1.00 off coupon. They normally fly off shelves. Grab while you can!
Oh cool! Thanks for the heads up!
I purchased these recently and I was very disappointed as they were bitter and left my mouth very dry, to the point of disposing the whole batch. Needless to say, they didn’t taste like cotton candy or any grapes that I’ve tasted at Sam’s at all!
I bought some of those cotton candy tasting grapes at Walmart last year and they were so good! Me and my picky granddaughter were hooked! I can’t wait to get some this year!!!
Aldi’s carries these at different times of the year.
My Lidl in Virginia Beach had them $3.99/lb. Great snack for those of us on WW!
Got em today from sams club. You must wash before eating em.they taste the same as reg grapes your mind just plays tricks on you thinking they taste like cotton candy.if it read jalapeno flavor you would think they taste like jalapeno grapes..mind over matter
Must have been a bad batch because usually they actually taste like cotton candy.
Actually if you get the right ones, they taste exactly like cotton candy. I’ve had some that say they are and taste like regular grapes, but others taste exactly like cc. Not mind over matter in this case, just fact!
I just bought some of the grapes and really just think they are OK. Not worth the $9.99 I paid for the pkg
Mine have been out for a week now. They sold out in 1 day
Hi there. I just purchased two containers of the Red dragon cotton candy grapes. I was highly disappointed. They are sour and for not taste like cotton candy. I bought one for my daughter and she says the same thing. They were not cheap. At 10 dollars a piece is quite expensive and not get what you expect. So sad about it.
I’m really sorry to hear that! 😢
