This is a great deal but remember that a 3.5gal tank cannot hold many fish. It’s generally suggested to have 1 gallon of water per inch of fish. This tank would be perfect for a Betta fish. Size-wise it could hold a few tetras but they’re schooling dish and prefer to be in larger groups. Maybe some other commenters could suggest fish for this tank.

Honestly, as long as it has a filter and heater, a betta is one of the only fish that would be good for this. These tanks are so small that you won’t find a fish happy being alone in it besides a betta.

On this page 3.5 gal aquarium says 15.00 but to order says 19.99 I’m confused

Hi there! This is an older post. Sorry for any confusion. It seems the price is up now. We’ll keep an eye out for any similar deals that may pop up!

Even a Betta should have a minimum of 5 gallon with filter and heater

So yes this is a small tank however it is perfect for the 2 goldfish my son won at the fair last night. The $2 fish now have a $30 home lol. But really that’s all they need
