Weird…I don’t see RNs listed anywhere.

    • Jennifer

I saw that too! Also, no way for us to verify current license since the Board no longer mails updated cards. I don’t want to send my paystubs just to verify!

    • Aleshia

Isn’t an RN under healthcare workers, or nurse?

    • Nikki

      Registered nurse is listed there

      • Jodyg

It wasn’t listed this morning. They must have updated it. Awesome!

  2. al

when you verify your occupation, the only drop down option on the form are doctors and nurses

    • Mommy1214

The only choice is doctor or nurse even though it says other people qualify….I am not sure how it works.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! Be sure to click through the link you need. One will take to to the Healthcare workers verification page and the other is for First Responders. Hope this helps!

      • Mommy1214

I clicked the healthcare link and it lists all the qualifying positions, but when you go to the verification form it only has doctor and nurse as a qualifying status.

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hmm, I see what you mean. Maybe try giving them a call to see if they may be able to help you apply for the offer. (888) 863-1968

That’s awesome! Thanks for letting us know!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re very welcome, Heather!

      • Tabbitha

I cannot find where to go to verify as a nurse.

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! Be sure to click through the Healthcare worker link above. Hope this helps!

I don’t understand why active duty military isn’t on here when they are in the same list in most states as law enforcement is

    • Mona

      I was thinking the same.

    • Bev84

If you shop through ID.ME you’ll get all these discounts they’re posting! Sometimes the percentage off is more. Like Under Armour offers Additional 40% off on sale items. You sometimes need to read the fine print under promotional code.

Dentist but not dental hygienist? 😢

    • Emily

You should contact them. They left occupational therapists off the list even though they are definitely treating covid patients and helping get them back to daily life. When contacted, they apologized and said they would correct it. I think if you aren’t in the healthcare field, there are many you forget about but they do want to honor all. They just don’t realize there’s more than the ones listed.

      • Emily

It’s actually a more comprehensive list than I usually see. At least they did think of some therapists.

  6. Ashley

Thank you! Waiting for them to confirm my ID now.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Yay! You’re welcome, Ashley!

  7. Julie

My husband is a firefighter and it worked for him instantly.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Woohoo! SO happy to hear that, Julie! 🙌

If you are a nurse, you can go to nursys.com and save a pdf of your current license. This can be used to upload for verification at https://www.thenorthface.com/help/the-north-face-healthcare-workers-discount-program.html

Took about an hour for email confirmation of verification. Received a one time 50% off code in that email. Suppose to be good on multiple purchases till end of year, normal priced item. Not good on sale, clearance, or outlet per their explanation.

  9. Michelle

Worked great- from a thankful RN.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! I’m so glad, Michelle! Thanks for letting us know it worked for you!

  10. shellie

FYI! It says under the FAQ: “To verify your eligibility, click the link above and select “Doctor” or “Nurse” as your status—regardless of which healthcare group you belong to. After successful verification through SheerID, you’ll receive a single-use promo code you can use for a 50%-discounted purchase on thenorthface.com” so I guess you just pick one for them to verify any of the qualified professions and they’ll figure it out

  11. Jamie

Waiting on them to approve/confirm my ID, I read somewhere on the form…to just select the “doctor/nurse” option even if you aren’t that.

  12. michelledonker

Worked for me right away- I’m an R.N. What should I buy???

  13. rn404

Can I use the discount more than once?

Yes. Healthcare Workers can be verified and request a new discount code once every 30 days from April 14, 2020 until Dec. 31, 2020. Once you’re ready to shop again, you can re-verify your status and receive a new promo code.

  14. nikki

anyone still waiting for a response i haven’t heard and submitted twice

    • D

Must not work for doctors. Sent mine in hours ago.

  15. Laurie

Wow this is horrible. They dont consider Truck Drivers who are delivering the PPEs to the Hospitals as Essential Workers! They dont care about the millions of Americans out of work!? I will never buy from them again. Doctors Nurses etc are still getting pay checks what about the millions of people who arent we get to pay full price!? I will be Boycotting them 💯

    • Dave

I’m sure they had nice intentions but the execution was bound to backfire. How about grocery clerks ? They are on the “front lines” without PPE in most cases that I’ve seen.

  16. JulieArp

What about the non licensed medical workers? I’m the front office and the first point of contact and not eligible for any of the freebies offered anywhere. Apparently I should be classified as disposable and not essential 🙁

  17. Kaylee

I submitted my verification late the previous night and didn’t receive the code until this morning FYI

  18. Charity K

Got my code but when I applied it, it said it was an invalid code. Tried a couple times. Wouldn’t work.

  19. Kristen

I’ve submitted 3 proofs of ID and it keeps emailing me and saying it’s not sufficient. Copy of my license, photo of work badge, pay stub. Anyone else with this problem?

  21. Rn404

Thanks I’m a RN and just got my code easy peasy

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Woohoo! You’re welcome! Glad to hear how easy it was for you to snag!

  22. Sherry

Wowzeee….Stop complaining for a moment and use that moment to be thankful that you are able to work in such a time that there are so many fighting for their life. Then go find the best fit to choose from submit your information and see if you get verified. Sometimes we get lost in the fight and forget what it is we are fighting for. Lets all take a moment to thank this company for allowing us this nice discount and GOD for the gift of life and keeping us healthy enough to work an serve those who are sick.
