Free Samsung Phone Repairs for Frontline Responders
Samsung is offering special perks for first responders and healthcare heroes!
Samsung is offering first responders and healthcare professionals free repairs for Samsung phones, including cracked screens and battery replacements.
Doctors, nurses, hospital workers, EMTs, police officers, and firefighters with valid ID are eligible for a free repair through June 30, 2020. Note that only Samsung phones are eligible for free repairs (tablets and smartwatches are not). To qualify, your phone must turn on and be free from any liquid damage.
To set up a repair, simply visit a uBreakiFix location and show your ID. If you’d prefer to do a mail-in repair, just call 1-800-SAMSUNG and let them know you’re a first responder and Samsung will even cover your shipping costs!
Samsung is also extending its employee discount to first responders. This discount of up to 30% off can be combined with most offers for additional savings – no coupons required! Head on over here to learn more or to shop for a new Samsung device!

That’s awesome! Cracked screen can run $200+. Apple should do the same.
I wish Apple would do the same. My husband just dropped my phone & screen is cracked!
Thank you! My husband has had a cracked screen for months so this will be a great perk for him 🙂
Oh good! You’re SO very welcome! Glad he will be able to get it repaired!
YES!!! My samsung has a cracked screen and I’m a registered nurse. Definitely going to use this perk. Thank you!
You’re most welcome, Alex! 💕
Wish they would do this for teachers. I am using my phone more now than ever and my screen is cracked from a rambunctious student. No complaints as I am so happy to be able to see my students most every day!!

This is seriously a helpful miracle! Thank you. As nurses we are not use to feeling appreciated or even valued. Most of us dont take time to care for ourselves. This kindness, love and respect from others is hard to accept. And humbling, it means a lot, thank you!
You are super welcome, brooke! We appreciate you!!!
I cant find any retailers in my region or 2 states. Where are these places? WV, Kentucky?? anyone know of one?
U can ship it too and samsung will cover shipping.
I wish you would do this for school workers also.
This has taken over an hour of on line chatting and another 20 minutes of phone chat just to find out galaxy S6 edge is not covered total waste of my morning
Thanks so much! Just an fyi to everyone, they are fixing the crack, not replacing the phone, so you will be without a phone for about a week.
You’re welcome, Salina! Thanks for the heads up!
mine took 1 day! S8+
Thank you so much! Was able to have my phone screen repaired for free and back to me in 3 hours.
Yay! You’re so welcome, Kristi! Glad to hear how quickly yours was repaired! Thanks a ton for the feedback!
I brought mine in they said it would be couple days. Also keep in mind they only cover the front . Mine was also cracked on the back (its a S8+) and they said in order to fix front I have to get back fixed( $60). So I paid 60 and hoping itll b good as new! Hopefully getting it back monday.
Saved me $253. Just picked my repaired phone up. Thank you!
Yay! So glad you were able to get it repaired!
Thank you so much for this information! It was so easy. I made an appointment online and dropped off the phone at my local uBreakIfix location in Reno. They just took a copy of my ID and ID#. I was able to pick it up in a few hours the same day. It saved me about $240.00! What a nice thing for Samsung and uBreakiFix to do for healthcare workers!
Woohoo! $240 savings is awesome!
