On the fence about buying a refurbished mixer? Don’t be!
Refurbished KitchenAid products have a 6-month limited warranty from the date of purchase, which excludes cosmetic damage. It is always a good idea to keep the dated sales receipt as your proof of purchase since you may be asked to email, fax or mail in a copy of the receipt.
Factory refurbished products are remanufactured goods that have been returned from a consumer, retailer, or trucking company. Refurbished products may, or may not have been used by a consumer. They have been cleaned and inspected to original mechanical and electrical condition. Refurbished products may contain cosmetic blemishes, which are not covered under warranty.
NOTE: These mixers will likely not arrive in time for Mother’s Day. Due to the impact of COVID-19, you may experience a further delay in your delivery and your actual delivery date may differ from the estimated shipping arrival date listed on the website.
I have family and friends that work at the factory that makes these awesome mixers! I would never buy a full price version. The refurbished is by far nicer because it is not fixed on the main factory line instead is made/fixed by experienced employees on a separate line. I currently have this mixer and has been going strong for twelve years!!! If you ever get to Greenville, Ohio, please visit the Kitchenaid Store on Broadway. You won’t regret it.
Thank you so much! This is great information!
Thanks for the info!
That’s awesome news. I bought refurbished a few years ago.
My biggest concern would be the six month warranty. The fact that there may be a delay in shipping, your warranty would be much less (they count the day you purchase it, not the day you receive it).
Tilt head > bowl lift
The bowl lift glass bowl is heavy on it’s own and I can’t imagine lifting that with a batch of cookie dough that makes 13 dozen cookies in it. No way! Consider that when buying.
Why won’t the 10% off work? It says my cart doesn’t qualify? I’ve got the silver in my cart.
Hmm, I was just able to apply the code at checkout. Maybe try again in a different browser OR switch to desktop view if using a mobile device. Hoping this helps!
I figured it out. I was confused because your site said it was 179.19, shipped. However, that amount didn’t include tax. So, I was wondering why it wasn’t showing me that number. My shipped price was 191. Sorry for the confusion!
Oh yes. Tax can vary. No worries! Thanks so much for the update!
Thank you! I’ve been wanting to get one for long. My husband is persistent to get me one now for Mother’s day and glad I found this and read all the info about refurbished. This would be my first refurbished purchase and I hope I won’t regret it. I almost get the classic plus for $190 at Belk but I think I got a better deal for the Artisan 5qt. here.
You’re very welcome, Anne! Hope you love it!
Thank you so much for this! I decided to search here before purchasing on Target, and so glad i did!
