DIY Dunkin’ Donut Kits Available in Select Locations
It’s time for a new and exciting restaurant item!
Next time your kids are craving something sweet, check to see if your local Dunkin’ is offering one of these FUN DIY Dunkin’ Donut Kits! Several franchisees are now selling these kits that include plain donuts, yummy frostings, and sprinkles.
“The simple joy of getting to create your own donut can make kids light up, and if we can be a part of creating that moment, that makes us happy.” — Dunkin’ franchisee Matt Cobo (whose location invented these kits)
Not only are these kits fun and delicious, but you don’t have to limit yourself to one flavor donut! Decorate your donut with strawberry frosting, chocolate frosting, or vanilla frosting – even all three!
Keep in mind that each location offering these kits may have their own pricing and varieties available. As an example, one location in Alameda, CA has a four donut kit for only $7.99 and a nine donut kit for just $15.99.
Currently, Dunkin’ is only available for drive-thru, carry-out, and delivery services. Check in with your local store and get your family practicing those decorating (and snacking) skills!
Mine had a 4 kit for $5.50. I thought it was cheap, probably less then the price of 4 donuts alone. The kids and hubby shared a bonding ‘moment’. Definitely worth the money. I’m in Mass. Great idea Dunks!
So happy to hear about your kids and hubby bonding AND for such a great deal! Thank you, Meredithjoanna70!
Brilliant idea and fun and delicious treat for all ages. Thank you for sharing 😀
You’re very welcome!
These are so cute! My little man has a birthday tomorrow, might have to see if this is available here!
How exciting! Wishing him a very Happy Birthday!
Thank you so much for sharing this! What a fun and special idea. I look forward to calling my local DD and seeing if they are offering this.
You’re welcome, Tracy!
yeah great get fat with your family good idea
🙄 puh-lease! Kids are going without birthday parties and birthday cakes and everything else right now. A treat every once in awhile doesn’t hurt anyone. Maybe if you had one, you wouldn’t be so cranky. 🤷♀️
Lol🤣 Love your comment!!!!
During these times it’s the smallest pleasures like these that can bring a smile to a kids face! I have three and it’s been really rough on them. If this is something that isn’t for you, then just keep scrolling and let the rest of us be fat and happy!
Ha! My kid is running wild and playing outside now more than ever. Definitely not going to get fat over a donut. Not to mention, us, the parents run 200 miles a month. GIVE ME ALL THE DONUTS. lol I can’t wait to have a kit 🙂
If you don’t have anything nice to say…don’t say anything at all.
Just keep swimming Debbie Downer!
We did this Sunday and the kids had an awesome time!! Such a fun treat to not only eat but decorate your Sunday donuts!!
How neat! Glad to hear how much fun it was, Kristen! Thanks for commenting!
I like this idea! Hoping our local DD participates. My two grandsons love DD and making memories that last in a world of negativity will be what matters most. Thank you Hip2Save !
You’re most welcome! Hoping you can grab it for them!
Yep–my family was one of the ones who got to “test drive” these in Match for corporate to see if they really wanted to offer them. They were so much fun!
That’s SO cool Susan! Thanks for sharing with us!
My local Dunkin’ is selling two sizes, size small which is 6 donuts, 3 containers of frosting (vanilla, chocolate and strawberry) and 3 containers of sprinkles for $5 or a large which is 12 donuts, 6 containers of frosting (two of each, vanilla, strawberry and chocolate) and 6 containers of sprinkles for $9. I bought the small for my children and the loved making their own donuts! A lot cheaper than buying them already frosted as well. It’s fun and cute!
Oh, nice! Seems as you have a few different options! Thanks for sharing, Kindra!
