Meet LQD: Anheuser-Busch’s New Line of Hard Beverages

Move over hard seltzer – there’s a new summer sip on the scene!

If you’re thirsty for a light and refreshing adult beverage but you’re all seltzered out, Anheuser-Busch has a new line of craft beverages to quench your summer thirst! LQD is the brand’s new collection of drinks, and they’re here just in time to offer an alternative to last summer’s hard seltzer trend.

LQD’s initial product lineup includes hard passion fruit green tea, hard agave limeade, and hard peach green tea. Hard hibiscus lemonade is scheduled to join them later this summer. The entire line is brewed using simple, pronounceable ingredients like green tea, coconut water, naturally fermented real fruit, and agave nectar.

Keeping with the trend that made hard seltzer so popular, LQD’s drinks are all under 200 calories per can with no artificial ingredients or sugars. The alcohol content is between 5 and 6 percent ABV, which is similar to what you would get from a White Claw.
