Sorry to say that these are garbage. Bought one last summer. Followed directions exactly and the coffee came out SO WEAK. even left it in for another day or so and no change. Waste of money. 🙁
This looks similar to the original Toddy maker which is like 30+ years old. At least I’ve had mine for almost 30 years. So you grind the coffee, 12 ounces, put it in the pitcher which you have put a thick filter in at the bottom, pour in 7 cups of water let it sit 24 hours pull the plug on the bottom and let it drain. Very easy and very strong! It actually is a concentrate that you have to add at least another 50% of water to. We make a pitcher of regular and decaf like every two or three days. It’s better than any cold brews I’ve bought at the store. Google Toddy.
I did, too. The silicone gasket on mine split after light to meduim use. The strength of the coffee was fine for me–I just used it straight up, without diluting it.
My daughters both bought one and loved it and used it when here on the weekend. I think it was a 1/2 cup coffee and left it for the 12 hours and it was really good. One added the WW low point Aldi flavored creamer. Yum!!

Tried a bunch of different coffee brands and found Aldi’s ground Colombian to taste best.
I got this last year and loved it. Accidentally dropped it and shattered it so I will be buying another!
